Good. I hope that goes well. At least, it's a non-invasive test and relatively easy for the kids to endure. He may find it rather interesting.

It was, apparently, a fair amount shorter than the lines on Monday (the day early voting started). I can't imagine what it will be like on November 6th. Thankfully, I'll be in the middle of the Caribbean and won't give a flip!

Early voting is just like regular voting. For us, it's beneficial because we can vote normally .... just before the regular election day voting ... since we won't be in town. They offer early voting for us from October 15th until November 2nd or 3rd (I think the 3rd is the only Saturday that they are offering it) of this year. It is at the county courthouse from now until the 26th of October. That next week, it is offered at several other locations around the county.

Thank you. I'm better tonight than I was last night. Hopefully, I can get lots done tomorrow. I really can't wait to see the dress on her. She's very excited about it even though it is simple.

Molly - another note about early voting....

In some places, you have to have a reason for an absentee ballot. Here, you do not. You also need no reason at all to do early voting. I think it was instituted to help prevent the huge lines that occur at major elections (like this year) and to spread out the voter traffic. I love our early voting and take advantage of it as much as possible.

Oh, I see. I'm just curious, because we don't have it here. I'm not really looking forward to standing in the lines next month, but I think 4 years ago it only took about an hour. It was really busy, but went fairly quickly, for a presidential election.

In MI we have to have a reason, I heard dh explaining it to someone earlier this week. I think it's great that people can vote early or absentee ballot if they're busy or gone on election day, voting is so important. I can't believe how many people simply don't vote. Whoever you vote for, it's important to vote. I think it's wild that both presidential canditates have apps. Changing times....

My hubbys aunt and our closest neighbor is a Stampin Up rep, she is starting up a monthly class, we made 3 Christmas cards, I was hoping for anniversary cards, I need 2 of them in the next few weeks.

Ya we are just going to use canning jars, but I think we are going to glue the metal sealers to the rings closures, so that when you are in the shower using the scrub, you dont have to fool with a 2 piece lid

I love being able to go for advanced voting. Voting on election day is, sometimes, not convenient for me. This way, I can plan it for a day that works best in my schedule. I'm very glad that Georgia has it.

As you probably saw on FB, I've got major issues with people that are choosing not to vote. They don't like the choices. Well .... neither do I. I can't stand either one of them, but I needed to vote. I must be a big girl, make an educated choice, and vote.

A class is so much fun. I don't have that option around here. Sorry you didn't get your anniversary cards!

That's a good idea. If I make the scrubs, I'm going to do that, as well.

Ok .... I finished the dress. Super simple, but it was a challenge for me for some reason. I was going to put lace around the bottom - we found the cutest heart lace to put on it - but we don't have enough. It goes a little more than 1/2 way around the bottom. I may try to find some more if we have time on Monday, but things are so very busy right now. Anyway ... here it is ....

That sounds like a fun card class. It seems like it's a little early for Christmas cards, but I guess it's right on time if you're on top of things...which I'm not, lol.

That sounds like a good idea to glue them together. They have some really cute small jars.

Other countries aren't lucky enough to vote, or have to go through a lot to be able to cast their vote. I think many people here take it for granted. I don't have to like who everyone is voting for, but I still want everyone to vote.

Thanks, it's a little better today. I could really feel it tonight when the meds wore off, so maybe a couple more days of meds and then I'll be good again.

Aww, she's adorable in her super cute dress! It turned out really well! Hope you're able to find more of the lace, but even if you can't it's still really cute.

My Detroit Tigers made it into the World Series tonight! They swept the Yankees, hehehe. Nevermind that one of the Yankees is from here in Kalamazoo, he lives there now, lol. It's been great being able to watch the playoff games instead of the debates....

Ditto on that Shell!

So now I have to call them and argue with them.......I'm not wanting to change dr offices, and especially not to one that's a good 20 min away.....especially with all of this going on.....

Oh no. What a pain. I'm sorry, Molly. I don't blame you on changing doctors, but .... I drive an hour to our pediatrician.

I totally agree. We MUST exercise that freedom.

Thanks! She's happy with it. That's what matters to me.

I had a long post typed last night and poof I hit another button somewhere on my Android and lost it all! So, I decided to recap shortly what I wanted to say..

Conni, so sorry for all the issues you are going thru w/MIL. I hope you can resolve it so you all can get along. Sounds like you got some good card therapy though!

Shell, I totally agree w/you about voting..IMO if you don't vote then don't whine about the candidate who is chosen...I say to those to "shut the pietrap!"

Love the dress you made for Jaydin. BTW, have fun on your trip. You should have pretty good weather here. What ports are you visting?

Kathy, hope all is going good for you. I hope you are on the mend.

Diana, well, where the heck are you???

Molly, I hope they find out soon what is going on with Joey.

As for me. Well, I am packing and just about ready to load the truck to head for the cabin. I can't wait to get up there! I am waiting on DH to come home so we can finish everything. I was off today and had to run errands and get last minute stuff done.

Have a fun week everyone!

I would too, but the one that they are insisting we go to does NOT have a good rep...

I called the insurance company today, and it all went downhill from there. It's going to be a long process, and I'm most likely going to lose. It's sooooo frustrating. I need to go into an office on Mon or Tues to see what I can do, but it's not looking good. I do not want to go to an office that does not have a good rep, for any reason.
