There is a tool in the quilt world, look like the Big Shot, but white and is called the GO, and you use dies to cut your fabric, but holy is it pricey!!I was wondering if I could use the dies with my big shot, might have to investigate.

On track with my workout this week, found a used eliptical machine for $100 too so cant wait to get that home. Did an extra 30 minute step aerobics class this morning too.

No, don't mind waiting..it's just that I do everything else when it comes to calling and ironing out issues. However, when it's the t.v. or internet he can do it. I spent way too many years in technology repair when I worked in telephony and don't really want to be bothered by it anymore.

Never heard of that tool. Sounds interesting though..have you tried your Cricut for quilting? I don't see why you couldn't use your Big Shot but I would probably research it.

Good deal on the eliptical and good going on the exercise.

My sciatica is giving me issues. Had to get a massage yesterday and to the chiropractor today. Left early from work both days but starting to feel better. It really started hurting the other day when I was running. My chiropractor wants me to do some diff stretches b4 I run. Said that should help prevent my sciatica from flaring up. Meantime, I have been taking anti-inflammatory and sitting on heat pack.

DH and I have been running for 2 mos' now. We stopped going to the gym, mainly becuz we can't seem to connect with the owner to get our key card re-activated. I told DH to let's just wait on going back for now since we are going to be out of town and then when we return he has several other trips to make for DS surgery and business.

No ... unfortunately, it's my brain. I've used the pattern before, but my brain just isn't wrapping around it this time. So, I think I'm going to restructure my brain and starting parts of it over on Saturday when I'm home all day.

Jaydin rode today. I hung out in the ring taking pictures. We're riding on Tuesday next week, and there will be 4 little girls in the ring riding in preparation for the show. Should be interesting.

We have to be at the barn on the 25th for her lesson and the 26th to get the horses ready to go and then, at the park on the 27th for the show. It's going to b a very busy week.

Good for you I imagine cutting those out is quite the job. Happy Joey helped its so good for the kids to learn to help.

BUT ... because you asked that, I checked. MTC does work with the Cameo. My curiosity got the better of me ... SCAL 3 works with it, as well. Since I own SCAL 2, I was able to upgrade (keeping both versions on my laptop) to SCAL 3. Now, I can cut all of my old SCAL files on the Cameo, and I can still use SCAL 2 with my Cricut.

I like how you associate her show with my Birthday or is it my Birthday with her show either way... Thanks For Remembering friend.

I finally starting to feel better today...and I ate way too much tonight did so well until 9 pm and I got ravenous.. I don't think they intend a person to eat 6 special K bars in one sitting but i did... Still probably less calories that the Caramel Chocolate Chip brownie I had been eying...my brain is not being kind to me i have been so out of it, I really think its the meds.. I am glad I will be done with them soon...

Worn out tonight. I didn't sleep well last night, and we had classes today. I had 17 in chorus.

We're home tomorrow, but I have SO much to do.....

Washer repairman came this morning. He said it would be upwards of $500 to fix the machine. No thank you! We decided to go to with a new one, and if we get a new washer, well.... we have to have a new dryer, too. Both machines are 12 years old, so we know that the dryer will go out soon, too. It has never been as good as the washer. Anyway, those will be delivered on Monday. Because they are a fair amount bigger than we have and open differently, we need to restructure our laundry room. We had built-in cabinets in there, but Mark has taken them down. I hated those, anyway. They look nice, but they were too tall to really work well for me - since I'm vertically challenged....

We have a cabinet in there with a sink, as well, that is being taken out, too. Mark is trying to do that himself.... we'll see how that goes.

I had planned to stay home all day today to get stuff done. Instead, we'll be home all day on Monday to wait for the washer and dryer. I have canceled a meeting I was suppose to go to and won't take the kids to piano, either. I'm glad to have the day at home, anyway.

I made some cards today. They were simple. They're for our deacon families, and didn't take any thought. I needed a few of those for immediately after the cruise. I'll have them ready to get them sent out when we get back. I still have some other cards to make and Jaydin's dress to .... finish. I need to get my iQuest plans done for the weeks in November, too. I should be able to do all of that during my at-home days this week.

I have to share my excitement with all of you that happened to me yesterday. My son surprised me by flying home from Arlington, VA and arriving at my house at 3:30 a.m. in the morning! Talk about being surprised!!! I certainly did not expect at all. DH told me to get up and he was cooking breakfast and to get ready for an adventure! My son's friend who is also like a second son was with us too. Ended up we had a road trip and wound up at Disney's Blizzard Beach!!! My family is most adventurous and we all love the water! Well, I went to the dressing room to change into my swimwear and when I came outside there stood my daughter and her husband!!! We had a blast going down the waterslides and racing and just relaxing!! My daughter made a fabulous picnic lunch with shrimp tacos, turkey sandwiches and fresh fruit! Simply divine!!! When the park closed we showered and dressed and went to Downtown Disney for dinner at Raglan Road. It's an Irish pub style eating establishment and the bread pudding is to die for!!! So, overall I had probably the BEST birthday a gal could ever want for her 50th!!!! What a wonderful family that I have!

Yes, I was ecstatic to say the least! He just left a little while ago. He is staying with his friend that was with us yesterday. He lives in St. Augustine. So, he will get to enjoy the beach a bit b4 he flies back home on Wed. night. I was so happy to see him and the water park was awesome!!!

Shell, your family should really try and do Blizzard Beach if you get the chance during your visit. The weather was perfect yesterday and it wasn't even crowded. It is soooo much fun!!!
