I went to bed at 9pm and slept until 7:15...I think it is some sort of record for me. I got a new Antibiotic yesterday.
I am feeling a little better, but still wiped out a bit....hoping to be back to my old self again soon!

My mom went to my aunt's house on Sat, so Joey and I went down and met her there. We ended up staying overnight, which was fun. Ksenia was there too, so Joey was thrilled to be able to have her to play with.
Yesterday we stayed home and watched football, and I went downstairs and worked on more craft fair stuff. It's this weekend, on Sat.

No ... it can't cut chipboard and grungeboard. The Cricut can, though. I've used the deep cut blade for that.
That is an awesome deal! Did you look at the BossKut Gazelle? I was wondering about that machine too. Supposedly it can cut chipboard or grungeboard. However, it is a little on the more expensive side. Not sure about intricate cuts.

So, I stopped at M's today and picked up some things like brads I was running out of..can't tell you how long it has been since I purchased those. However, when I need them I can't seem to find any. I have plenty of designer style but no plain until today.
Anyway, I went to check out and saw that M's had a Cricut exclusive cartridge called Folk Art. Simply elegant images and I just love the font. They only had 2 in the store and well, one went home with me! I can't wait to cut with this cart!

I didn't. I did look at the Black Cat cutters, but they were too expensive.
The Gazelle is over $400, so well out of my price range.
Thanks. I did do a print/cut project today. That was pretty cool. I need to work on the dress a lot more tomorrow. I didn't get a lot done today. My brain just wouldn't engage for whatever reason.

Glad that you had a good time shopping today. Sometimes, we just need that retail therapy!

Anyway, I really like this cartridge. There is a train with train cars that I want to cut out for my DS. I have an idea that I am going to create for him. I think it will be so cool!
There are some beautiful images on this cartridge. Very pleased with it.

DH is on the phone with DISH..we got the new receiver today. He has been on the phone for about 45 min now. He has 2 tv's back up; but working on the other 2 now. What a pain!! I refuse to get involved with this..

That sounds like a fabulous bundle. Have fun with it when you're able to get into it.

You must've really needed it. Glad your meds are starting to kick in.
I meant to call the dr's office today to find out the results of the tests, but forgot. And they didn't call again. I need to leave myself a note to do that for tomorrow. I need to know!

That machine looks like it would be awesome, but way too expensive. I looked at it last year, I don't think it was out quite then though.

Enjoy your new stuff! I havn't bought any brads at M's, ours doesn't have a great selection. I usually get them at HL. I didn't know M's had an exclusive cart, I'll have to check it out.

That sounds like it was quite an ordeal. Yikes! Hope all of your tv's are back to working how they're supposed to.
Last night I cut out a bunch of soup labels for Joey's class at school. The school uses the $ they get from them for a number of different things. They have 3 contests where the top 2 classes that have the most box tops/soup labels get a pizza party, or ice cream sundae party, etc. I turned in 1000 yesterday, and cut a couple of hundred more tonight. My neighbor works in the patient kitchen at one of the hospitals in town, and she saves me the labels. Joey helped cut them out too. Thank goodness the deadline is on Fri, so I can take a break from cutting them for another 3 months, lol.

I'm glad you really like it and will get a lot of use out of it.
Are you going to use MTC with it or another program? What cut programs is it supported by in addition to using your computer for images?
Actually, the Cameo comes with it's own software, and the bundle that I got had an upgraded version of the software. It's pretty good software and has great options.
BUT ... because you asked that, I checked. MTC does work with the Cameo. My curiosity got the better of me ... SCAL 3 works with it, as well. Since I own SCAL 2, I was able to upgrade (keeping both versions on my laptop) to SCAL 3. Now, I can cut all of my old SCAL files on the Cameo, and I can still use SCAL 2 with my Cricut.

That's awesome that you can use your software with your new machine!

That is making a Cameo more desirable!!! So cool that you can use those programs with it. I still have my original Cricut loaded with Scal 2 also. I have also been chatting on another thread to get more info on the Cameo. One gal posted this tutorial her DD made for cutting with the Cameo. You might find it useful. Silhouette Cameo Explorations
I am really thinking I need this for my birthday... Maybe a gift to myself..LOL!!

funny how those things have a way of growing legs and following you home. Enjoy playing with it.
