Looks like we are finally in the clear for some good weather, the last few days have been so mixed up, sun, rain, sun, rain, storm...

Hubby has gone off to cut hay, Cody is rototilling around the trees "in the park" Steph is organizing our recipe binder, printing all of the recipes that are hand written on scraps of paper. Josh is watching tv. I am doing laundry, quick stop here then going to sit at the sewing machine, got some great fabric and want to make some quilts, but need to finish the fall table runner and placemats frist, one project at a time, lol Did some baking yesterday.

Will be shopping for new fridge tonight. Been evaluating them online. I want one with French doors and good icemaker. And has to be quiet w/plenty of veggie storage...that is what I am looking for.

DH is home sick with strep throat. Doc said he had to catch it on the plane. Good thing I was already on antibiotics..

I just finished going through my 2nd to the last scout handbook for a wolf... I have one bear left and one Den leader training and the records will be all up to date...yeah.

Yikes!! That sounds like a ton of work.

I'll be glad to have Thursday, too. That's the first day that we actually get to go straight home after camp. And, on that day, Jonah is staying up there for the night. The owners' son is one of his buddies. They play xBox while we ride, clean horses, and muck stalls. LOL!

Ok. I'm going to get ready to put Jaydin to bed and to work out. Wow ... I feel SO much better when I do. I wish I could remember this feeling all the time. I didn't sleep well last night, and I don't really want to work out, but I know that I will feel so much better after I do.

I need to get clothes ready for tomorrow, too. Clothes for camp for both of us. Clothes for Jaydin to get wet in. Clothes for Jaydin to wear to church. Clothes for me to wear to church. Clothes for Jaydin to wear home from church (it's Yuck Night for the kids). Grrrrr .... lots of clothes for tomorrow. Oh, and a towel for her to use after she gets wet. And another towel for her to use after yuck night ..... it's getting worse as I think about it!!
I love seeing all the pics of riding camp..and the page you did for the frame was absolutely wonderful. I'm sure the kids will treasure it. Jaydin didn't seem to be scared of the horses at all and really had control of her horse. Such a good experience.

While I was in the quilt shop the other day, I seen the coolest, free arm quilting machine, wow does that look cool, told my hubby that is what her can get me for our anniversary...to bad it is 9000. I showed him a picture of one this morning, he says "why do your hobbies have to take up so much room, we need a whole house just for your hobbies" I refrained from telling him we have a whole yard of stuff for his hobbie, lol

Riders won yesterday, so we are sitting #1 in the west!!! The kids had a great time!
But you could use the machine for doing quilting for other people..not a toy but a $$$$ maker. Maybe he'll fall for that line.

No, Jaydin isn't afraid at all. She's sooooo comfortable up there. She's gotten used to dealing with them, and she really loves being around them. She'd stay up there 24/7 if she could.

I don't have a 'have to' start day, but we'll start with some stuff on Wednesday, I think. It doesn't take us as long to get the work done as it does in PS, so we can get a lot done in a short amount of time. We can do school in the mornings and hit the pool or the stables in the afternoon.

Congratulations to your cousin...at least he will be able to see that she is ok after the operation. Maybe that will help ease his mind.

I also talked to my brother and SIL tonight, someone broke into their house for the 2nd time. They close on their new house on Fri, so they're almost out of that neighborhood, thank God for that. My brother said that at least everyone is ok and all of their animals too (2 dogs and 2 cats). And nothing sentimental was taken this time, because it was already gone from the last break-in...
Your poor brother and sister-in-law. I can't imagine how I would feel if someone broke into my house. Of course if it was my craft area I wouldn't be able to tell if they took anything or not.

I'm so thankful she went in initially when she did! They removed the whole left breast, and after pathology on it will decide if they're able to remove the other one (because she has at least a 50% chance of getting it in the other side, and the insurance wouldn't pay to remove it....grr.....) Our Episcopalian priest came to sit with us at the hospital, like he had for all of my grandma's episodes/surgeries at the hospital, too. It was a blessing to have him there with us. He sort of quietly took over my cousin (who's wife was in surgery) and got him to eat, etc when he wouldn't listen to us.

Today I spent the day at chemo with my friend Dawn. She did really well. She only has one more left!
Glad the docs found the other two lymph nodes...can't believe the insurance would be so stupid..I would think it would be cheaper in the long run to do both of them at once. Keep us posted on her condition please.

Saturday we made Silage bales, right about supper time it clouded over and dumped on us, we got 2.5 inches in under 40 minutes

Sunday it was too wet to do too much

Monday took Hubby to the Chiropractor, put his back out on Saturday unplugging the Hay bine. Finished the Silage bales.

Tuesday, not too much, went and checked the cows in the pasture, did some sewing, downloaded a new book and got it on my ereader, had another storm go through

Today, cloudy again, going to do some baking, got bad bananas to use up, maybe do soem more sewing, trying to get a fall table runner finished up.
This seems to be a busy time for farming..how nice that you live on the farm and don't have to travel from town and back.

How sweet of them to decorate your office...great surprise to come back to

Gettysburg was very moving for me too.....we ate at a restaurant that still had bullet casings in the wall...sad part of our country history

I will not say that we were hoping you would. I didn't realize that it was time for your monthly bath.

I did all the ordering of belt loops related to the event and got all the other previous belt loops organized. and updated on the internet...I just need to find out one more date to get from one scout that is missing.

I just finished going through my 2nd to the last scout handbook for a wolf... I have one bear left and one Den leader training and the records will be all up to date...yeah.
