Morning
mt cousin is still here, we haven't had any craft time yet, but have made some good recipies, she made mini cheesecakes for us, I taught her how to bake buns, and we found a recipe we both were looking for and made it. SHe has been out helping with chores, which is great I am going to miss the help when she is gone.
Went to Regina yesterday for another 4 day dance competition, they did their Jazz last night, got a 2nd! Back again this afternoon.

good to know, just didn't want to know that she had been mailed and never got here. Looking forward to her visit.

Sounds like fun...congrats on the 2nd place...that's great
My friend came over today for me to help her cut some vinyl for a project she (I) is doing for church. We cut the verses Matthe 28:19-20 ..... LOTS of words!!! Yikes. It was a lot to cut, and it took forever. We had a lot of glitches, but I finally got it done. I'm worn out.
Molly made it to TN. I'm hoping that we can work it out to get together tomorrow. Jaydin and I have a party that we have to be at in the afternoon, but hopefully, we'll see Molly before that.
Shell - look at what we saw in Illinois on our way down here. Christopher said he has a better picture, but I have to wait until we get home to check. It was neat to see that, especially in Illinois because that was the longest, most boring state to go through. It was nothing, but farmland.
Today we went to The Pink Palace (a museum that was originally a mansion built for the guy that started the Piggly Wiggly grocery store) and Beale Street (home of the blues). We also took a trolley ride around downtown Memphis and walked down close to the Mississippi. We wanted to go to the zoo, but it was raining this morning. That's okay because we had lots of fun today. We are planning to go to the zoo tomorrow.

Sounds like you are having a lot of fun in Memphis. You will probably come back saying ya'all and sound like Shell and Dell (our Southern belle twins).
Back to work. I have to finish embossing invites for my sister's baccalaureate and lunch she is doing at her church. And then I need to start making 45 little treasure chest boxes for the kindergarten for their program with their parents they are doing. Gives me a chance to use my new cricut tags, boxes 2 cart.

so is it like a cell phone, do you have to pay for service, or does it work wirlessly in your home?? My daughters ereader is wireless, and she can use it in our home, no need for a computer to download books, she can just get them right to her reader

Seems your to-do list is still growing, thought you were only doing a *few* more things, lol
Perhaps I will make little Easter treats for the school kids this week

Another windy day, but at least the sun is shining.
my hubby let me sleep in this morning...so you know the minute he went out of the bedroom and closed the door I was awake, lol
Picked up a few new books yesterday, a book store is my candy store, don't need any more but just can't resist. Do any of you Read Sophie Kinsella, she is the Shopaholic author, I got her new book, and the Nora Roberts, the first in a trilogy.
Picked up some Easter treats, still have to go to Costco going to add Movie passes to an Easter basket, happen to know some teens that want to see the Hunger Games.
Last day at Competition today, musical theatre, my daughter is so excited that we don't have to do makeup, seeing as she has a boys part!
I thought this thread would be a great place to get reconnected!
This is Linda in SoCal, very active original Cricut Owner and still very passionate about my machine and cartridge collection. Hope this is the right place.
I have the full set of Spectrum Noir Alchohol Ink Markers arriving tomorrow and thought I had better get updated on stamping and coloring!!
I would like to make this site a daily event as well as the Cricut MB.
woohoo today is almost over. I taught junior high computers and science today. The regular teacher so nicely took what was her free period and had me work with some kids on the computer so all the breaks I had today was 1/2 hour for lunch. Needless to say I was whipped by the end of the day. But I did get the invites finished for my sister and laundry almost finished, bills paid and now I am going to relax. Tomorrow 560 cupcakes await me (glad there are 4 of us doing this).

{{{Waving}}} to old and new friends.
Hello.
We share so much more than cricut so good luck putting up with us.

I'm going to have to look us Sophie--I don't think I have read any of her books.
Movie passes in the baskets--sound like the Easter bunny is pretty darn smart.

That is SO cool, Amy!!! Such a neat thing to see.
All of that sounds cool, too!!! It sounds like an amazing day.

I have, too!
I love that I can get those free ones and that I can borrow from the Amazon Prime library. Loving my Kindle.

Works wirelessly where ever you have wireless access
we also have a Kindle. touch that is 3 G& wireless for when we are places without wireless
You can download or use the cloud. So you have access to some things w/out wireless like apps and books music etc

They hit a lot of traffic on the way through TN, so it messed us up. They didn't get into Atlanta until 12:30, and I had to be 45 minutes from me (and I'm 45 minutes from Atlanta in the other direction) by 2. I wanted it to work so badly, but it just didn't. I'm hoping she'll be able to stop on her way back up.
