Glad you were able to get a bunch of cards made! That will help out when you're in need of some.

I stayed up late last night reading a book, but it wasn't my fault - it was downloaded from the library and I only had a few more hours left before it expired, lol. Hope you're able to stay healthy.

Downloaded some ebooks from the library this am, so I'll have something to read while we're gone. I love being able to borrow ebooks from the library, thankfully I finally figured it out (with help, naturally), lol.

Oh my that's a lot of cards. I don't know what a card buffet is...sounds less fattening than a food buffet.

Definately...even makes my wallet thinner...

My friends old upline does them on the last Tues of the month.. she has make in takes in a bin you grab one and make it.. about 16 different cards each month...8 of which are from the previous month and the other 8 are brand new...for several different themes... next month their will be a graduation themed one probably...I usually make 2 of each kind I make so I made 11 birthday and 2 baby cards...she charges 18$ for 8 cards and 1.50 for each additional...you get to use all the latest SU stuff and see Ideas with how to use it etc...It has been really nice... she usually has a few thinking of you and Thank you cards I usually ask her for a similar birthday sentiment so I can get quite a few birthday cards made...I go with my friend and we visit and chat...she does it from 4:30 -8:30pm people come and go as they please. It has helped me build up my stash of cards.. and helped me decide what I want to order if anything...last year it was 8 for 16$...my friend and I both like doing it and we visit a lot more than we would if we were watching a movie.. etc.
...anyways that is my best definition of a Card Buffett..

Shell - Flat Brandon arrived home safely on Saturday. Sorry I didn't let you know sooner. It has been really crazy around here with school projects, conferences and trying to get ready for our trip. Thanks for showing Brandon such a wonderful time!
I wanted to get Jaydin back in the mail to you before we leave, but it just isn't going to happen. I will work on that next week.
Okay, I need to get to bed. We leave early in the morning.

Making cards that were already designed so you could relax, visit, try new stuff out and still get tons of cards made--sounds perfect to me. Maybe when we all don't have anything to do we could do a swap ( and yes I wrote this tongue in cheek- I can't imagine us not busy.)

Sounds like a neat way to build up your card stash and have fun with your friend at the same time.

I know, sometimes the library waiting list can be crazy. If it's a new book that's just come out that I want to read, then I usually have to buy it. I download almost all of the Free Friday Nook Books, there was only one that I figured I'd never read. The others are there for when I think I *might* run out of stuff to read, lol.

Same here, too. I had a couple of things I wanted to add to her, but had to get them. I'm planning on bringing her with me when we leave, so hopefully I can hand deliver her.

It was really sunny here - until that big fat cloud covered up the sun. Hope it gets out of the way and takes it's friends with it, lol. Yesterday was the last day of school here, so I have to find something to entertain Joey today while I finish up a few things so we can leave tonight for my aunt's house.

Have fun at the zoo!

I need to get myself moving so I can get a few things done. I have one last load of laundry done, have to get the Easter stuff disguised so it can come with us, lol. I had Joey charge his iPod and DS so that he has something to do on the trip, too.

Thanks for updating!!

Sounds like Flat Jaydin is having a blast with ya'll!

That's the issue we had with Flat Brandon ... we didn't have time to take him to some of the places we wanted to go. We had planned to send him back this past Monday, but they needed him back by Wednesday. Bummer.

I wanted to get Jaydin back in the mail to you before we leave, but it just isn't going to happen. I will work on that next week.
Okay, I need to get to bed. We leave early in the morning.

I'm so glad that he got back safely.

Thanks for the update on Flat Jaydin!

I hope you have a wonderful trip!!!

We were hoping you might. That would be neat. I sure hope we can make it work on Saturday.

Went riding today. Jaydin had a blast and did really well. She had her stops down and her pivots, too. She really looked good up there.

Pivots. So that's why the pic on fb looked like the horse had to go to the bathroom. Jaydin looked great sitting so straight on the horse.

Hahahaha!! Yes ... I think the pivots had a lot to do with that.

Thank you. I'm so glad that she's still enjoying it.

Finally after much putting it off I started organizing my stamps by genre. Having them in a couple of big tubs and having to root through them to use one --not such a good idea. I started on the flowers. So far I have them separated by size, with and without stems, 2 step, and some like roses separated by kind. Some sets I am keeping together. I have flowers with a pink label on the cover, animals will be another color, greetings completely different and so on. This hopefully will make it easier to find not only a stamp but give me idea...and we all need ideas.

Wow ... that's very industrious. I can't imagine trying to do that! It should work very well for you what you want, though.
