Have a great day everyone....

DH and I ended up buying new treadmill a couple of weeks ago (old one finally died) and we are calling it our valentines present for each other... any ideas for something simple I can get him.. my mind is completely blank and so UN-celebratory.

on a sie note I think I really need more sunshine and warm weather I think I have the winter blues big time this year and there is really no reason for it...and only one way to get rid of it .. digging in the garden...

soon Kathy soon...spring is only a month away

Diana ... Thank you so much for the beautiful Valentine!! You did an amazing job on it - as usual. It's just gorgeous. I totally love that little bird cage hanging on the heart.

LOL! Nope ... just an intermediate. Maybe that makes it a Bachelors ..... the beginner's class would be the Associates ....? I don't know.

Yesterday we were in the low 50's. Got my car washed..finally. Today it is snowing, windy with wind chills in the single digits. Poor birds flying outside my window keep bobbing up and down. I have to work on birthday cards today..yes I know I should be working on them instead of talking.
You know Kathy, if you got a long arm quilting machine you could quilt the tops for other people. The place around here that does quilting has a 6 month waiting list. Of course she only charges $125 for a regular size quilt so that may be why. Yea, that's what you need..more work.

Home to stay for a few days!!

The weekend away at convention was just wonderful. The first morning I went back to sleep after hubby left for his meetings, didnt wake up until 11. That after noon we went out and did a little running around that he wanted to do. Saturday morning I slept in again, but only until 9:30 this time, then went and visited my mom for the day. Each night we had banquets at the convention, it was so nice to dress up and wear high heels even. Everything took place int he same hotel so we didnt even have to go outside.

We got home Sunday, spent 1 night in our own bed, and then went back for a mini family holiday with some friends of ours to a hotel with a water slide. The kids had a blast. Today the men brought home the twin girls and all the boys, and the rest of us had a girls day out. Went shoe shopping, had to find Steph a pair of shoes to wear for grad, she is an escort this spring, then we went and had manicures done and came home our selves.

Been a great few days, back to reality now though

Thankfully he's doing much better. He has this Friday off for Mid Winter Break. And today he has a music program, so I'm glad he's able to make it to that.

That is adorable and soooo perfect!!!! Thanks soooo much! I'm sorry I forgot to send $ out last week, I'll make that a priority this week. If it's not too late, can I give you their address and have you mail it to them? Then I don't have to worry about forgetting to get it in the mail on time, my memory is so terrible.....lol.

Turns out they let that woman go that was doing unethical things. The gal running it now told DH she would love to have me come back. So now I have 2 farms I can frequent. I just need to find more time.

I have a busy week ahead of me at work. Have a couple of events I have to attend. I have filled up the Alzheimer wing and have a waiting list of 5 people! Such a big need for that and so sad. I only have 4 apts left to fill on the assisted living side. I am very happy about that.
I cannot believe that they showed up unannounced!!! How rude! That would really freak me out....Hope you had a great time riding, and so glad that you get to reconnect with the other place that you loved to go. Congrats on things at work, sounds like you're really making a difference there.

The best part of all that is that DH child support obligation will end in May. So happy that we won't have to give her mother anymore money. Now, whatever we do for RJ is solely for her and not her mother...
Glad you had a great day! I cannot believe she's going to be 18 already, wow. And you'll get to deal with her mother less, bonus! lol

I wish you did, too!!! That would be so much fun..... crafting and riding.
Love the name for your new room. Sounds like you're getting it all situated how you want it. Glad Jaydin likes her new machine.

Our snow was gone, briefly.....not anymore. I need it to stop for awhile, so that Joey and I can drive the 2 hours to my parents on Thurs after he gets out of school. On Friday we're planning on going to visit my cousin at the place she's staying while she receives her radiation treatment. This is her 5th week, she only has one more week left thankfully. She's doing pretty well. On Sat I'm getting together with a friend I grew up with, and then Sun we'll be back here, so it needs to not snow on Sun either....wonder how realistic that will be......

I have been looking at this...on this thread The Envelope Punch - We R Memory Keepers CHA 2013

they tell about the envelope maker having the incorrect measurements...
think I may wait until the corrections are made...but it sure looks like a fast and easy way to make cards.

My measurements were perfect. No problems at all making my envies. I don't know what they are referring to.

How wonderful!!! It sounds like you had a fantastic time. Good for you.
I hope it was amazingly relaxing, too.

Oh, good!! I'm really glad you like it.

Oh no!!! I sent it out today while I was out. I would have been glad to send it straight to them. I'm so sorry. It's on it's way to you - priority, so it should be there by Friday or Saturday. Need us to remind you to send it??? LOL!

Thank you! I'm really enjoying it.

Jaydin is thrilled to have a better space for her machine and to have the confidence to start working with it. It's a bit of an intimidating machine, but she's getting past her fear and trying to conquer it.

Good luck with that, Molly. I hope the weather cooperates for you.

Thanks. No. Actually, I used my old one because the design was small. My new one will get use soon .... I have a messenger bag to do for a friend. That design is bigger than what my old machine can handle.

SO I have been very busy the last two days between a webelos meeting last night and doing the Blue and Gold Banquet tomorrow night.. so its a crazy week.. However a snow storm is on the way boys are hoping for a snow day or late start...I am just hoping the banquet doesn't have to be rescheduled...but if so we have tentatively rescheduled for Sat...if need be.. hoping that I can relax Sat though...
