Yeah, seriously!! It was an experience like I've never had before ... and one that will keep me going for YEARS. It shows me just exactly why I work as hard as I do on all of this stuff for each week. I pray that I'm channeling the Lord's lessons and desires, but sometimes, I'm not sure that I'm doing what he wants and that it's being effective with the kids. Nights like that squelch any doubt.

Wonderful, wonderful day today. We celebrated the ministry of our Senior Adult pastor. He was the pastor of the church for 25 years, went to serve at another church for a while, retired, and came back to our church in 1988 to serve as our Senior Adult pastor. He's had 50 years in ministry at our church and 65 total. He's an 89 year old man who still drives, emails, and Facebooks. He's pretty awesome.

Then, we went to the house-warming party of our youth minister. More fun with more friends. Yep... a great day.

We had an open house at the stables yesterday. Dusty met us there with the girls. Jaydin had a great time playing with them and introducing them to the horses.

Becky got engaged on Friday night ... and married yesterday. At least we don't have to deal with the drama of a wedding or engagement....

hello, long time no talk

busy few days, Stephanie's dance recital weekend.

Spent a day and a half designing and printing the programs for the show, all nice in brown and blue on glossy paper. I had both of my printers going, one doing the front side and one doing the other side. I was pretty proud of them!

Spent Thursday helping a good friend pack up her house, her and her husband are retiring from farming and moving to the city. We have a movie date to go see the Lucky One this week if I am able to get time to go to the city.

Took my programs to dress rehersal, only to find out even after much proof reading, I missed 1 dancer. So I come home Friday night and add her to the program, and start re printing, this time on plain paper, not enough glossy left, then realize that it is taking to long to print them in brown ink, so I had to change them to black. Only got about 15 double sided done, and my printed decided to bite the bisquit, it died! Good thing mother in law across the yard has a good printer, emiled them to her, and she got them done for me.

My parents were here for the weekend as well to watch Steph dance. Had a good weekend with them. Thing will get busy again around here, should be in the field to start seeding in about a week or 2.

Sorry you had printer issues.. so frustrating when things like that happen... hope the recital and everything else went well for the rest of the weekend...

I'm glad the recital went well, but I'm sorry that you had so many issues with the programs.

Let me know how the movie is. I think that one looks really good.

Good Morning... and Happy Monday!!!

I need to do laundry..not to excited about it right now.

I am in the process of baking another batch of english muffins...

DD said I quote, "Sour Dough is so amazing why waste it making English Muffins with it..."

Hopefully she will like them..DS.. is so excited he cant wait, they are his new favorite thing.

I plan on making some french bread also but this was quick and easy for an already busy day ahead of me...

Oh Well I will check back in later...need to run to the rental place...and to talk to the caterer about the cake...

DD and I went to Blizzard Beach yesterday. Had a blast!!! I highly recommend this park if you come to Disney. Anyway, it was a bit cool and windy here yesterday. The high was like 76 degrees. But, they had the water heated so it felt awesome! I went down several rides and we did the tobaggan races. Had a wonderful time w/her and came home and grilled steaks last night for dinner. She is such an amazing gal!!! She will finish her 2nd semester of nurse practitioner school in few wks.

Actually, Full Sail is East Orlando and we head from North Florida to the West side. He would actually be out of my way. He is in the area where my DS went to college at UCF.

How blessed you are to have a pastor so loved and so dedicated.

Short engagement...I'm glad you don't have to deal with wedding issues with her.

busy few days, Stephanie's dance recital weekend.

Sorry about your printer and the programs. Hope you had a good visit with your parents.
Planting....you are going to be very busy running around soon. Hope the weather cooperates.

OK so I am direction challenged. Wonder if there is help for that? Glad you had a fun filled day--you so deserve a break.
