I just went online and purchased a quilted cover for my SC. Check it out! I get them from KathiesCozies on Etsy. She is awesome. She made one for me for my E so I know the quality is fantastic!

I saw that this morning. At least I can relax now and take my time to look. I felt a bit rushed looking at them last night. I want to evaluate the projects I plan to do over the next couple months to see what I need.
DH & DS fly out tomorrow. So, I have to take them to the airport in the morning. One reason I am feeling rushed too. Plus having to help DH pack and wash all the laundry btwn working too. So much to do and so little time!!! Calgon, take me away. I am looking forward to some quiet time at home for the next few wks.
Also, I realized that the company who shipped my SC did not send me the Designer Software so I had to call them this morning. I think they made a boo boo when they listed it so cheap with that price. However, I had the receipt and emailed it to them and they made good on it. At least they gave me a code to download the Designer software edition. So, I will be doing that either tonight or tomorrow when I get home.
Tonight we have a play to attend. DS is going with us too. It is called, She Loves Me. Supposed to be a comedy.

A few days alone sounds like heaven! Enjoy you time, and take your time looking and buying.

I'm glad you're going to get some time alone. I need some time, too, but I'm only home 4 days between now and Christmas. Argh.
I need to call Silhouette, I think. I can't activate my Designer upgrade. I have tried and tried on the new system, but can't get it to go through.
oh what I would do for 60 degrees!!! went out for 10 minutes, ears hurt, throat hurts, not nice out there.
We don't get back down into the 50s until next Saturday. I don't like warm Christmases. BUT .... we have a horse show on the 29th, so I'd like it to be a bit warm that day ...... Yeah, I know ... I can't be happy.

We are in the 50's here again today. We even had a short thunderstorm last night (like 10 min worth, lol). It's going to be the same tomorrow, and then who knows? The weather peope don't seem to.....lol. They can't agree.
I went to a big craft fair yesterday with my cousin (the one who has breast cancer). It was soooo packed that it was difficult to walk around, and even see the different booths. It was good for the vendors though, I hope. We both got some Christmas gifts there, so we considered it a success, lol. Then we went to lunch at a middle eastern restaurant close to my house, I love that place. I did some wrapping last night too. Turns out that I don't have as much crossed of on my list as I thought I did, and I've been getting the same people too many things and the others not enough. Need to get that fixed. I need to get some Priority boxes from the post office so I can mail my nephew some books. I went through Joey's picture books and pulled the ones that look like they're in great condidion, so I need the priority boxes because they're going to be heavy to mail. I need one for my brother and SIL too. I wish dh's family was one the ball so I knew who we had to buy for on that side and when I need it by...but oh well. There's still time. It was so nice out here that I took the dogs for a walk, and I only needed a sweatshirt. Not bad for Dec 1 in Michigan (unusual, but not bad).

Got both DH and DS off yesterday then I went shopping. I needed new make-up as I used up what I had yesterday morning. So, ended up at a Sephora beauty counter and had a make-over. I got several new things from companies I had never heard of...Forever Make-up and Too Faced. I am set for a while now.
DH is in Emmitsberg. Said it is freezing and rainy. He has a lot of projects to do for the class he is taking and compiled with his college class work is getting super stressed. I will be glad when all this is over for him.

Sounds like everyone had the same idea as you with going to the craft show. Glad it was productive.
Know what you mean about buying too much for some and not enough for others. I have a tendency to do that too.

Our weather here has been just crazy, rained today, I was coming home from my moms and it was pouring rain, made the highway a skating rink, I actually felt my van sliding on the highway a few time, Not sure how it can rain at -10

I had a good visit home, spent the day with my mom, we were going to go to a craft show, but when we got there and found an empty parking lot, we realized that it was next weekend, lol
Did some other shopping, got lots done.
Hoping to get the christmas tree up this week, we usually do it the first weekend in December.

I think we hit 80 here today. Really too hot for this time of year and it doesn't make for too festive mood. Of course, I will take mine instead of your negative numbers..

I really like them so far. Except my eyes are really itchy and now my right eye is swollen a bit. I think it is from the mascara I used yesterday. I didn't buy it thank goodness. I am so allergic to mascara anymore that I just get where I don't where it at all.

Oh, that is something! I would have had to laugh at that one.
Glad you were able to shop anyway.
Have fun with that. Mine is up! DH got it ready b4 he left with the lights and angel on top. I had to add the garland and decorate it. Done all that today. However, the tree skirt and stockings are still up in the attic. So, it will have to be naked until DH returns.

Got a lot of stuff done today. I can't believe how much I accomplished.
Walked dogs twice around the block. Bathed Harry (Sassy had a bath a couple days ago). Dusted, vacuumed, mopped, washed 7 loads of laundry and folded, cleaned kitchen, swept back porch, watched some Lifetime movies, paid my month's bills, balanced checkbook, downloaded my Silhouette Designer software and made my first cut. It was a horse of course! Actually, it had a ton of intricate cuts on it and I wanted to see how well the SC would cut. It is beautiful!!!! I can see how much I am really going to like this machine.
I also joined myfitnesspal.com I need to get more weight conscience again.

I am like that with lipstick, or lip gloss, or even certain lip balms, just drives my lips crazy, have to stick to a certain type of lip balm, so when I buy it I buy about 5 at a time

ok bad luck again this morning, seems to be a monday things here. went down to do my workout, and the tv wont turn on. It is a 42inch that we got as a Christmas gift ONLY @ YEARS ago. tried all the help phone numbers but because it is off the 1 year warranty they wont help me. Goodled the problem, and think we found the cure, but still means hauling it to Regina to get fixed, probably a few hundred for that. My friend told me not to touch my sewing machine for fear that it might be the 3rd thing, lol

I am sporting a headache today. I can't wait to get off work today.
Shell, I meant to tell you that Hallmark Scrapbook has the $25.00 SC download cards for $18.75 Of course you have to pay s&h but still is a savings. My s&h was $2.79 so I saved a couple bucks.
