Update: Stephen's brother Mark has not had surgery, yet. The infection is being treated with antibiotics first and they found out that it is strep. It is responding to the treatment. Mucinex is helping with his coughing fits. He does not have any blockages. Debbie (sister of DH and Mark) said he looked and felt much better last night. The doctor answered all their questions yesterday so they are feeling much better about what will happen with the surgery. This morning they were putting a camera inside to look at the heart so they know exactly what they are working with. Surgery to replace his valve could be Friday or next week...the longer on the antibiotics the better.

DH will have a colonoscopy Thursday afternoon so we will find out about what they can do to stop his diverticulisis issues.

Here's a funny story..........

About 10 minutes ago Dennis and I were sitting on the couch watching the news. There was a huge thud and the house shook. Well, guess what crashed into the house? A turkey. He's still there, stunned, surrounded by turkey feathers!!

8.christmas green
9.sweet pea a lovely mixture of light/soft flower colors
10.fuchisa a lovely mixture of dark rich flower colors
of course none have been opened
before you open them-you need a plan. when opened you must transfer the contents to a large bowl.
i got a pk of plastic containers at walmart. i think 8 in the package for 4 bucks

I have Flower Soft Shamrock Green, Yellow, Spring, and the Rainbow set. Because of the set I have lots of Shamrock and Yellow and am willing to exchange/share for colors I don't have. I've put it on commercial cards that some of you shared with me for the troops and it looks great. I HAD to add embellishments before I send them on for the troops...LOL!

Quilling, I think...not taking it...don't want to get inot quilling. Besides DH will be recovering from his 12:30 p.m. colonoscopy tomorrow so I need to stay with him.

Is it because sleep is overrated?

I am hoping to sleep very well tonight and Friday because we have a loong day Saturday (nephew's wedding so we are driving to the NJ shore and back - leaving 10am and hope to leave reception by 9pm; MapQuest said 2h45m so we are figuring 3-1/2 to be sure we don't miss the ceremony and cocktail hour
