Phew. Long day. Ended up working nearly an hour overtime today, then had to rush, rush, rush as I had a hair appointment at 5:30. Got my hair cut, picked up my new glasses (they are a metallic rich razzleberry), picked up the books that I ordered a while back but which finally came in, bought the bead for G-ma's bracelet for lilbro, did a couple more errands, and now have dinner on the stove. (Am just making 'sketti)

Baby girl is sick now. DH took her temp tonight out of curiousity (the first time that we've ever taken it) and it was 101.6 and she complained of a stomachache. I'm hoping that it's only a 24 hour thing and that she wakes up better tomorrow.
There should be a rule that all kids have to be sick at the same time. So far they're dropping like dominoes with each being sick for a day or two at a time. Hopefully they don't start over again and we're done when baby girl is better.
I thought NCIS tonight was rather strange. Though I did miss the first couple of minutes, so maybe I missed some critical piece of information.
I can't help you out since we probably won't be watching it till Thursday or most likely Friday evening. I have a PTA meeting on Thursday and dh also has a meeting at school on Thursday evening.
I am curious to see what is going to happen with it towards the end of the season.
They ended JAG after the 10th season and this is the 10th season of NCIS.
Also, I believe Cote de Pablo's contract is up for renewal at the end of this season.

Janice, did you know that butterfly you send me ( the lacy cherry lynn one) is the small size? ( I got the bigger one today... and it is a booger to cut...) but, Im cutting you some.
I *almost* was ready to toss this die in the trash ha, finally figured out what Im doing wrong.... I nearly always cut spellbinders down because I want to see the image or sentiment... these need to go cut up.. ( in a big shot)

and C the last card I shot ( the sheep moms day) was shot at
1/25th f/13 ISO400 148MM on a 18-270 lens
(on a tripod)
on my bigger lens I used to shoot ISO800 f/29 zoomed to what ever ( cant think ) and 1/13 to 1/10 usually ( on a tripod)
both of these are no flash...
eta #2... do you have any idea what the diaphragm is on that lens?
(that will effect your shutter speed)
I only use my 50 prime for portraits its like a neekid eye lens... did the camera come with any other len's
eta#3
your F stop is so narrow that you are only focused at a tiny little section of the center of the card... if you widen that up you will have more of the card in focus... so make your f stop a little bigger? ( and watch your light meter)
that lens is one fast puppy you have... but your cards not moving so, you dont have to be at 125 to catch it in the act, if you have a tripod you can drop that down to let in the light and get good card shots.

Mine is a bugger to cut too! Maybe I need to try that?? I bought a metal shim that helps some plus I have to still add a small paper shim to a small section...its all the fine detail
yes, today after I tossed a lot of cardstock I flipped that thing UP and put the metal thing against the die and then the cut pad, and then it cuts... I still have to rotate it but, its cutting so will try it again tomorrow or the next day.

I think the one on the baby card I did for Misti's challenge maybe MFT but, I think i have a bigger one that is like a card shape base that maybe PTI. ( I got these last fall sometime I think) I have not played with the pumpkin either. ( the one with all the sections.)

Ok Im looking at J's transcripts...
he needs 24 credits to graduate, he has 17 1/2 since the first semester of this year... so all the classes he has now are not in and he is ranked 55 out of 182 kids in his grade... so there is something just short of 800 in his hs.
