Kids are still awake since sh let them take a longer than necessary nap today (late last night, early today basketball tournament for ds1). Doesn't help that the neighbor is snowblowing his driveway at this hour.

I am just starting to TRY to make pair cards... but, usually what's happening is the second card uses the scraps of what I cut from the first. but, its not a duplicate card.

Some times I do it this way, also.

Now you have me thinking about 5 X 7 cards. How the heck do you make a card base for that? My biggest paper is 12 X 12. So you can only get one card from a 12X12 CS right?

Haven't heard from Arlene. Texted her this AM, no reply yet. She is probably having one of her "sleeping off the meds" weekends. I will try her again tomorrow.

Poor Jen! (((((HUGS))))) I will be glad when the gallbladder ordeal is over for you.

Is your research finding anything diet related that causes this problem? We had so many people at work having GB surgery for awhile there, we were beginning to think it was in the water or the air!

Most of them were diagnosed correctly and got the surgery and were much better soon. One lady had pain more in her back for a while and they had her doing physical therapy for her back for weeks before they figured out it was gallbladder. She is fine since see had her surgery.
it can be hereditary. Overweight and high fat diet doesn't help.
There are so many different kinds of issues with it.
And, having it removed most likely won't solve all problems. Bile is stored in the gallbladder. ....it comes from the liver. So now bile will go directly to small intestines at a slower rate so can still have digestive problems/issues. I've found a list of foods to avoid and foods that are helpful. I would totally recommend that Information on Gallbladder Attacks, gallbladder symptoms, gallbladder diet, gallbladder removal, and gallbladder health. site to those that have had it removed.
(the bad list contains chocolate and coffee)

Tami, check with a doc. I know you have been having lots of migraine along with me.
I have been having migraines for 18 plus years.

My last doc that put me in the hospital in July figured out I was having a combination of migraine and tension headaches at the same time. I am able to now figure out which one I have now migraine or tension headache and take the right meds to get rid of it.

I am now Migraine free and it is Totally Awesome. I have not had a migraine in about 3 months and when I did the the right meds worked in and hour.

Now I am not saying that you have tension headaches with migraine, but maybe there is something else. Because after 18 years of this stuff I was real upset to find out that "IT" was something as simple as to different headache problems at once that was causing my problems.

Maybe you could have a simple solution too, you never know.

Because I really don't want you to go though 18 years of this crap like I did. One easy but pain in the butt thing you can do is start a journal for your doc and record daily event for your doc of your migraine activity.

Give it a shot, you never know.

Morning

Warmer temps leads to lots of fog this morning, next couple of days actually. And of course warmer temps now means cold later in the week, which of course means it will be when I pick up the cookies...outside pickup and then unloading into the garage. It's gonna be a long week.

I was curious. I've come across it in some of yours and a couple of other authors too. Seems like most of the errors I'm seeing are either extra words or wrong words that make no sense in the sentence and occasionally a misspelling.

I never even thought about emailing anyone about them. *smacks head* Sorry guess I should have let you know when I saw them.

That makes sense about not editing your own.

If you're using Chrome you can add an extension call Adblock Plus for free and it gets rid of all the sidebar ads, etc. I said something one day to the oldest and he put it on for me. I no longer see all the ads on here or any other site either.

I use my 12 to get two square 6" cards...

I use 8.5X11 to get 5X7 and 4.5X6 and yes one card per sheet. but, on the A-6 card I also have a scrap wide enough to get an 3" square folding gift card. when I do 5X7" I tend to use its long scrap for sentiment stamping ( to make into little tags)

You can buy card bases you know? they sell it in packs like 50 bases for X amount of money and its even scored... and it can come in all kinds of sizes and colors. ( just not from SU they only seem to carry flat sheets or if they do a pack of card bases it will be some funky size for a limited time)
depends on how gung ho you are about becoming SUO.
if so you can cut your paper.

ETA I buy reams of white and cream from Neenah... and when you buy direct from them you are allowed 4 sample packs for free. ( and the sample sheets are like 14 or 15 by like 19? something they are huge... I cut these down to be portrait 5X7 bases actually. ( then use the scraps for sentiments )

I'm using Firefox.
But there is supposed to be a way that you can "un-track" yourself, so that the ads that appeared are not related to searches you have done or sites you have visited. They will still be related to what appears on the page you are on, but not related to "you" specifically.

For the most part, I don't mind the ads on SCS, as they are generally stamping related. I don't often click on them, but I don't find them intrusive either.
My stitchy message board is part of an online store, so it is more or less ad-free too.
Skating message board is ad-free if you pay an annual fee, which I do.
Those three sites, plus Goodreads & pinterest are where I spend the bulk of my online time (other than email), so I get off pretty lightly as far as ads are concerned.
Some of the other sites I visit on occasion do have some really intrusive ads though.

I hate when I make something & it doesn't turn out nice. I always struggle with how bad does it have to be before I toss it in the bin & not bother eating it.

Channel surfing. I have decided some people are nuts. These people are throwing a full, all-out wedding: clothes, event planner, caterers, the whole nine yards.
Why is this nuts?
The bride & groom? Dogs.
Some people have WAAYYYYYYYYYY too much time & money.

I made 6 cards and 4 tags afterwork today. ( it went quick ) because, I did not stop to write down any details or shoot any of it... so its all on the dresser for when there is some daylight.

Janice got the envelope am grinning from ear to ear... I was actually looking for the thing you dyed of yours in there... ( we need that for the challenges I think in march, im not looking at the spreadsheet ) its not the mini at any rate because, I got all my samples done for this friday night today too.

Watching an episode of a doc series on ancient Rome. Interesting series, but someone needs to tell the presenter that long, somewhat stringy grey hair just is not a good look.

Glad it will be useful Stacy! Can't wait to see what all you do with it. Let me know if you want more of anything alot of it was stuff that was already stamped and on my table so it wasn't as many as i would have sent if i had the stamp out.
