Sorry, Tami. Life is a pain. I had to scrap everything I had for 22. It involved a school shooting, a couple of lives lost... the works. I had almost finished it up just the day before Sandy Hook. I kept trying to add the last bits and couldn't do it. Finally scrapped it. I just can't. Not now. It's too raw. I kept thinking it was just me, but then I figured maybe the Lord was hinting that this wasn't the right time. Which, it didn't feel like but I don't always trust feelings. So, the moment I scrapped it, I felt like writing it again.

oh don't apologize- I was just saying that for myself. I honestly can't remember. I hear ya on not the right time. I would have probably cried all the way through it.
hey do you all have your projcet line up for the New year. Since mom is sick we are play hear I am so sick and tried of this whole thing. And I tried be home bound. I play computer game unit bule in the face. Thanks hunging in with me.
haha... so I did go over with a drink and so did hubs... and so we were there for 5 hours my feet were killing me when we got home. ( standing mostly in a garage the whole time) we did go in the house at midnight and watch the ball drop and waited with a bunch of people while they waited for taxi's. but, you know the taxi co.'s were doing the one legged grape stomper thing last night so gave up and came home after 1.
got up, at 8 and the tree's put away. the house is mostly clean, the laundry's mostly done... the upstairs looks good. and here I sit. I should you know get up and make my thank-you cards but, I dont like what I started and I will have to figure out a way to make it work since I cut the cardstock already. and so... probably should go eat lunch but, have the ovens on clean and they are going to go one at a time behind each other so will be after 6 before I can use the stove too. ( oops) thought setting both ovens they would clean together haha. ( read that in the book after)
eta so that one drink was long gone worn off before 1 am and I was really glad to come home. hubs has a wine stash in the neighbors garage and someone poured red wine down the front of his shirt and after I seen that I thought I am too old for this. and the funny thing is I had never been to a adult part where people stand around eating and drinking all night before say 5 or 6 years ago. and so. its not a big thing for us. ( the plan was to be home before midnight) ha. kid even said that as soon as we got home. "thought you would be home before midnight" that is a odd thing to have your kid give you the parental sneer. haha.

wow stacey you have been busy. I wish I was busy. I miss the busy days Lol. so I trying busy on the internet not much happened tho. I wish I could have fun day with friends Lol But, thanks internet friends.
Imogene, will you do me a favor? Will you ask the people who made my awesome book what kind of ink I should use that will last through years and years but won't soak through the pages to the other side? I want to buy the right pen to write this book for it.
I think you'd need to find something archival ink... so, the best place to look would be a scrapbook journaling pen place ( scrabooking store) because, some of those people are fanatical about "forever" kwim?

In the coming New Year, 2013, both Groundhog Day and the State of the Union address will occur on the same day.
This is an ironic juxtaposition of events. One involves a meaningless ritual in which we look to an insignificant creature of little intelligence for prognostication.
The other involves a groundhog.

I've had a badly colored fashionista shopping diva colored on the table with some ugly pp that goes with the colors I colored her shopping bags forever... its going into a card for that challenge now.

Hoping to make it to the stamp room after watching this episode of Hawaii Five 0 with DH
oh, and my mom got me the scotch thermal laminator- BEST.PRESENT.EVER! I told her and added this (besides the chair of course). So, we'll say that laminator is the present I am enjoying the most right now!
Dinner of black eye peas, greens and homemade cornbread done and it was yummy!
Gonna have that tomorrow!
