Can I crawl into a hole today instead of having to go to work? Yesterday was pretty awful and I imagine today isn't going to be much of an improvement.

Stacy, I totally agree! Way too many parents letting their kids do stuff without supervision.
And then blaming whoever instead of their kid when the kid messes up on top of that.
There are some kids I've seen that I wonder how they managed to make it through to be an adult.

It is 13 degrees out this morning. Way too cold to move I say. But I have an eye PT appt at 9:30. If all goes well, I plan on breakfast at Panera and a quick trip to Arichivers before the chill sets in.
Then I will come home and make some soup for later.

Grasshopper made his appearance about two hours ago.
Just happened that lilbro3 was working at the same hospital today, so he got to stop by and see lilsis & Grasshopper within an hour of his appearance. Fortunately, although male, lilbro3 had enough brains to take & send a pic with the name. Though, male-like, he neglected to give height & weight & time of birth!

Jen, if its a fever will they be able to do anything? ( I've always been told drink lots of fluids and tylenol with a fever that it may be a virus? and they cant do anything for that??)

Grasshopper is very cute. He (so far) is a very contented baby & does not cry. We were there when the nurse came to give him his first bath & he barely even whimpered. He was wide awake most of the time we were there, so we got some good pics of him with his eyes open. Just have to wait until the parentals get home & Dad uploads the pics & emails them out (which I'm sure he'll do right away, since lilbro2 & family will want to see as well as the greatgrands that live a distance away)
BIL & his mom & their older two girls were there when we first got there and the girls didn't want to leave. Punkin was NOT amused that she could not take him & Mommy home with her. LOL

I would like to have this done by 9 and get one card made. I have a few things I need to do but want to work on making 2-3 cards per week. Tomorrow night is church and I will want to crash when I get home.
Oh, and I think Grasshopper may end up proving to be a very apt nickname. That child did not stop moving the whole time we were there. Kept moving his head & rubbing his cap off, kept working his arm out of the swaddling etc. etc.

Just FYI: if you have the old creative memories hexagon punches, the smallest size punch will JUST fit inside the cells of the new SU! honeycomb folder.
There are two different CM hexagon punches - one where the hexagons are about 1.5 inches and 1.25 inches and one where the hexagons are about 1 inch and .75 inches. Which one did you use that fit? I only have the larger size CM hexagon punch. It would be nice if that was te one that fit.
I like that sketch and need some thank you notes and other cards to put in my stash. I'll have to try and make some cards tomorrow and maybe I'll use that sketch.
