Oh! I wish they would still let you rearrange your boards page..........that feature seems to be gone when they changed everything awhile back?? Unless i'm missing it somewhere??
we have to be up for work in 7 hours haha... so I probably should head that way shortly too... dont want to, once I fall asleep I do not want to get up in the mornings ( all week so far)

Ok, that makes sense to me. I kept picturing an "unannounced pop quiz" type inservice or an "unannounced observation" type inservice which I knew wasn't right.
Don't you get paid for the mandatory inservice hours that you put in over the 24 hours? DH (and me when I was working, although I was at a different school district) has the option to do 2 inservice days over the summer and if he does them over the summer he doesn't have to go to the scheduled inservice days the Friday before President's Day or Columbus Day. If he chooses not to do 2 inservice days over the summer, then he has to go to school and do inservice days on President's Day and Columbus Day. Any inservice days he does beyond those 2 trade off days are paid. I think that he had 8 or 10 inservice days this summer, one he was teaching about using ipads in the classroom to other teachers, and he was paid for all of them but 2.
Nope! We just earn extra hours- but since we now have a different rubric it puts us at our "above and beyond" thing- blech. We also have 10 years for recertification. Anything above our 24 (1 then we can count toward our 90 hours.
Morning! Janice- I was thinking the same thing about rearranging the page. I actually thought about trying to get an account (under a different email address/twitter) to do a school account only to keep it separate. Still considering it.
I lied- looking at the radar they are calling for rain all the way through tomorrow morning 4 days stuck inside (oh, and possible snow tomorrow afternoon)
Morning! More of the same here. Rain, rain, and rain. Schools either on delay or closed. An elderly couple had to be rescued yesterday, they were driving through water in the road and ended up in a creek! Passersby saved them. Our dogs are getting very fussy. They like to spend part of the day outside. They have just been getting quick walks in the rain for the last 4 days! Bulldog is getting grumpy with DH. NOT GOOD.

We are not delayed or closed- and judging by the FB comments on the local news station page parents are not happy with it- they are upset that it appears the bottom line is taking precedence over safety

you can do it, but you have to hit save all the way at the bottom when your done or it goes back to what it was... let me poke around and find it.
click your own name
then there is edit profile button, right to the right of that is a little un-named symbol... hoover over it, says re-arrange boards... click it... then be sure to hit save when your done...

Ok, as stunned as I am that police had to be called to a baby shower, I am equally stunned that 1)said baby shower was held in a club (all the ones I've been too were in someone's home, or possibly a church hall if there were more people invited than someone's home could hold) and 2)that there were 200 people at this shower. C I have some Gina K darkish grey paper I can send you some to see if you like it?
but, I do not think it has hints of brown in it, but it is a deep shade of grey.
but, I think LA sent me samples of coordinations and one of them maybe the black has brown in it... trying to remember. that kind is double sided so the other side is usually a color so if you emboss it the color comes through. ( like one I just used recently the other side was pink...) they maybe have a brown black or a brown something else one... not sure. but, their's is also an textured cs. not smooth.

Okay I tend to avoid baby showers because, I do not like to play games... ( its really awkward to be forced into them when your deaf, and the memories of that still linger so I avoid them... but, I have NEVER been to a shower for a baby ( or even a bride) that had men and teenage boys at it...???

I've been to a few. At least one of my brothers some people at the church threw a "Jack & Jill" shower, which is a bridal shower to which both men and women were invited.

got a letter in the mail today... the "spring" fair at the school is a "trial" and a booth in it would cost me more than double what I currently pay... and I would have to build "walls" for it... and I have 2 months and a week to get it all done and ready...
on the other hand I have an email from a gal who works around the corner from me who "wonders" if I have valentines and thinking of you cards at work. yes to V day, but can bring in thinking of you...
so... does it sound do-able... when is Easter and or Mothers day this year? ( I have not opened my calendar yet ) and... I KNOW I do not have any M's day done yet, and only like 3 or 4 Easter cards... and I dont know I can make enough to fill a booth twice my normal size that fast.
