That's what I wondered, but you're right. It would take forever. Then again, it might be a nice way to use up scraps...

There is a thread going in tool & product talk where people are suggesting punches & dies from various companies and seeing if they will fit.
This one case where I think SU! really dropped the ball. If they had been smart, they would have done a punch or die to fit it, and also a stamp set.

I have a feeling SU might have a stamp or die for the honeycomb in the future.

I finally made a card that I am happy with for the rest of my January bdays. DH used my photo lamps to take a pic of an art piece yesterday, and knocked one of them off the table. Now it won't work! I hope it is just the bulb and not something wrong with the whole lamp. Bet the bulb will be expensive, anyway. I would LOVE to have photo lamps like Stacy's! Mine are real small.

Possibly. But I think it was short sighted of them not to have it in the mini with the folder.

I agree. I think they sometimes do things to get people excited in anticipation of new product. They seem to mostly just tick people off.
Some of the leaking of new product appears to be intentional to me.

I got my mini in the mail from SU!, so not sure how that is leaking of new product?

Does anyone know if the SU boards fit in the Score Pal? Apparently the diagonal one fits in the MS one, but I can't find anything about it fitting in the Score Pal.

I think that the powers that be did not think this sports program through before they did their schedule. It is scheduled to be airing from 8-10:30. It's 10, and we're only just past the halfway point..............

Give me a sec Miss, and I'll check for you. I bought SU! board 'cause I like it better, but haven't unloaded my scor-pal yet.

Don't have the new fancy SU! one, but the diagonal one does NOT fit the scor-pal. About a 1/2 inch too big in both directions.

Oh no, not the mini! All my customers have them also. I was referring to other things. Some things from Leadership that go live this week were supposedly leaked on Facebook. Also, the new monthly kits can be signed up for starting tomorrow were on the website briefly. It sounded like some IT people were playing around and didn't "turn it off" when they were through playing.

I was given a "coupon" for Christmas to use for SU during SAB and was going to get the diagonal plate or the new one in the mini. I know that I want to get a new scoring board, although I've heard that the SU one is nice and has lines at 1/8 inch intervals unlike the score pal.

This is a no-go for me, but someone posted the link to this recipe on another board and it looks yummy. For those of you being careful what you eat, sounds like it might make a nice treat, especially if you like milkshakes (can't even remember the last time I had one of those. Must be 20 years or something like that.). Mock Wendy's Frosty Recipe

I haven't heard anything about this. Sounds interesting. Not something that I would probably do because of budget issues, but interesting to see how they're doing it.

I have both the original scor-pal, and the SU! one.
The original scor-pal I know has fewer lines than the current version, so bear that in mind with my comments.
I do like the 1/8 intervals on the SU! one. MUCH better and more convenient to use than the 1/2 intervals on the sp. I also prefer the stylus of the SU! one to the bone folder style tool of sp. Though I do find that I have to take my time & pay more attention to what I am doing or my tool jumps lines more easily. I also like having the markers for the SU! one - I find them helpful when I am doing multiples of something, I don't have to keep checking my measurements.

I can't click on her blog because it won't let me view it. Sigh.
well... I don't have permission to view her blog either... so best guess is she is good with scissors... and she embossed the printed paper with same folder then cut it out and paperpieced it to the solid frame.

I own a lot of ink for different reasons, the co. does not matter sometimes I buy for color and sometimes for usage.
for instance:

for softness I really love the colorbox fluid chalk ink in creamy brown. ( this is a go to pad for me to rub along edges of things and age them without distressing) this comes in an catseye sized pad which is handy to hold and do that with.
I also have this in a full sized pad for stamping. ( this color is nearly a very close match to Kraft cardstock.) its been out for many more years than crumbcake so I see no reason for me to buy crumb cake... kwim?

I have Memento in maybe 10 colors in full pads and little dew drop size for some others. M's and J's have the dewdrops in a few pads in a pack with a coupon that makes them cheap for trying colors. ( these are good to color with your copic's)

Versafine is my number one I want that Ink to show and show off all the details of a photographic type image... I own every color of this, there are no refills. I just buy new pads when I kill them. J's and M's carry the black and sepia.. ( use coupons )

I own a whole bunch of ranger inks, distress, nick bantocks, Adirondacks mostly colors that are not in the old SU lines I kept. ( I used to own them all... I don't use them all... got rid of more than half of them) but, I like to color so having a variety of black to support coloring in various mediums works for me than owning every color of every ink pad out there... what I have noticed over time is, for my solid images... I don't hardly use them at all. a lot of those sets are headed to the sale pile. and the ones I'm keeping... I can ink them with markers.

I think investing in every color of marker is more smart than lots of ink pads personally.

Goodreads is going to drive me batty. I joined a discussion group there - which I am enjoying.
But tonight is the THIRD time I have gone in to my profile and turned off all the email notifications! I'd done it twice before today, and then tonight got another email. Oy.
