Oooooohhhhhhhhhhhh.............. hadn't thought of that.
I didn't get any cinnamon hearts this year. Maybe if I go to the grocery store with the wally world next door, I can score some of both.
Have a strange craving for jujubes too.

Why is it that the scissors I want, the pink ones are on sale, but the purple ones are not?

because more people are buying the purple than the pink ( go figure I know? snort) so they have lots of pink's to move off the shelf...

Oh, and I think I have truly gone off the deep end. When I put in the stitchy order Thursday night, I ordered the computer program to design your own patterns. This year's ornaments are done, but I am considering attempting to design my own for next year.......

At 17 I think he can sign up on the delayed entry program.

Hi Chicks!

LA are you still here? Haven't seen you in ages.

I'm still drinking coffee, trying to get started. Lots of cooking and cleaning to do for the bday dinner tomorrow.

no she didnt...

nice to see ya
YAY for taxes being done... dropped off all my stuff yesterday... so I know I wont get it back till nearly the last minute. ( the usual )
because they cant start mine till they finish the corp.

the recruiter is a nice guy. ( I knew he would be you know, but part of me did not want to meet him. )
they 17 thing is more the senior year than the jr. year. if he does it next year during his senior year ( before he is 18 ) I think it means he will make more money when he goes in. ( not sure, didnt ask ) its not the priority thing for me right now I wanted more info about the you know I have the one nephew still in the army and his mama is really crabby that he did not get out after 4 years and go to college which was his plan. ( to me I think well he has a family with 3 children and a guaranteed job. and so Id rather see him stick it out till retirement ( he would only be what 38? under 40 ) so it would give him that extra income later.
the new thing I learned today is they have active people and reserve people. ( I knew that) but, the reserve people can do that for the time difference from when they get out to the 20 years to still receive retirement. ( and I think that is a very cool thing)

SU online only works for the first time you order anyways... if you ever try to do it again it wont let you in...

and I am not the only customer that has that problem.

they need a reset your password button on the sites and they need to let you have control of who you want to buy from not who they want you to buy from...

so to me its easier to email my loot list of demands to a demo then even look at the su site.

We have a ton of ex military at work (co. recruits them). Most of them stay in the reserves to get the retirement benefits.

I think that's very smart... esp. for younger people who cannot be relying on the idea they may ever see a red cent of their Social Security deposit's back...

I never had that problem (before I became a demo). I ordered from Arlene a couple of times. It allowed me to change from my Old demo here over to Arlene?

you are very lucky then.

it could very well be the zipcode I live in... my mil cannot ever get her's to work either. and it will not let you change demo's and It will not let you change your email either.

all of my emails are "in use"

and no password I have ever used ever will get me into that site with any email I have... ( they are all in use...)

I think if your people are not computer savvy that not teaching them that is a smart move. because, for people who can get around the interent that sites store front is a pain.

ran some errands- post office (belated Valentines with cash from my mom), Staples to get an ink cartridge (free because I had $20 in rewards), Dollar Tree to get a drink and a couple of odds and ends, Academy Sports (to get tape to tape up my knee- it's special tape that costs $10 so my parents helped pay for that), Target to get some labels for school (and they had them clearanced to under $3 each so I bought all 4 so that I had them if needed) found some cute Valentine's stuff clearanced at 50% that isn't valentiney so I can use them for Easter or end of school and a couple of other things (but get this- they didn't have any Easter stuff out yet- only Valentine's), went to WM to return something and finally Trader Joe's to get a few things- they have a brand new gluten free all purpose flour that you don't have to add stuff to (the Bob's Red Mill kind you have to add different things to- such as guar gum)

sorry - got sucked into my game LOL

the hostess code is so that people can do an online order and add it to a workshop total (to raise hostess benefits) but it ships directly to the online order-er.
that's WAY awesome!

He could be taking correspondences courses towards a degree while he is in and they can convert their military training & schooling in to class credits too.

I do remember a convo about this, but it's been a while
