made a card first- a quick CAS for the snss challenge and the IC challenge- going to take a pic and upload it here quickly before I get going on my other stuff. Setting timers to get things done today
Dragging today. Woke up with sinus issues. Got to use some nasal spray before I get a headache.
No big plans today. Have several cards to finish so they can be mailed Monday. It is going to be strange not having mail on Saturday's! That was part of our routine. (getting things together and to the PO before they closed)
Have to clean some this weekend, since we have a family dinner next Sunday. Haven't had the whole crowd over since Christmas.

We are supposed to have several days of rain next week. That could be bad because the ground is pretty saturated. It is so dangerous and so EXPENSIVE when trees start coming down.

Imogene, if you have a PO that's open on Sat... its still open... they are only not delivering first class mail ( like bills or cas greeting cards or catalogs..) they will still deliver packages on Sat.... (and PO that are open are still open)

taxes filed- now, to figure out how to spend (and save the refund). I think I'll do some for crafty stuff and some for running stuff and then save the rest.
Ok, I just saw a snippet about the PO on the news. Guess I didn't get the whole story. I really don't see how it will save any money in a small town like this if they run around and deliver packages on Sat, but don't bring the letters?
Tami, I love your card.

We haven't filed taxes yet. Since we are in the retirement planning mode, there are a few things we need to have done around the house so we don't have to spend our retirement income on that kind of thing. Just a bit of work in the kitchen and one bath, and some fencing outside.

Because most people don't get packages. So instead of having to pay ALL the mail persons to deliver mail to everybody, they will only have to have a couple work to deliver just the small amount of packages would be my guess.

yay I get to spend part of spring break with my nephew! We have it at the same time so I am going up on Friday, then to Indiana with him on Saturday for several days and then back to OH on Tuesday. The plan is to come back south with a stop at Ikea in Cincinnati on wednesday

wow the FS for tomorrow has amazing coloring- I'm thinking I won't be participating in that one since I don't see much that's not colored and my brain isn't thinking any other direction (and my coloring is pathetic)
what if... you did people... and colored them solid black like a silhouette?? ( just a thought) I have not seen her gallery yet. notifying people of favorites...

Went to shovel and it started raining, which melted the little bit of snow, but now it's snowing big HUGE flakes so I guess this is the start of our big snowfall.
Hope everyone in the east is doing ok with their storm.
I have no motivation... should probably eat something. the plan was to get up early and get another quarter of the cow done before hubs friend got here to do the goats ( at noon ) and then head up to the hospital...
I dont want to move

have not been up there yet, its the weekend so most the staff that works during the week is off and this is kinda why she is there its a limbo thing..
they are supposed to let her out tomorrow or the next day I'm guessing maybe they will have some test results or dr.'s at work to read them tomorrow.
gma think's she has gout and has been taking pills for that for 30 years... but, when gpa gave the dr.'s the list of pills she is taking, none of those pills are for the treatment of gout. SO, what Im guessing is ( my mom says yes, she has that yes she used to have pills for it) is that when they did this shunt surgery ( a few years ago now, she has dementia) is that someone overlooked the gout pill, and she has not been taking it since the surgery because, she didn't remember she is missing it and the rest of them missed the boat on refilling or giving it to her and that could be why her knees have gotten so bad???
(just a guess)

Afternoon. Still snowing here. Been out once to scrape the snow/ice off the ground. Then got a couple more inches of snow so just finished shoveling this round. It's the wet heavy stuff...yuck. Can't even really see outside. Dd1 is supposed to go to a bday party at 4pm. It's a masquerade ball for a golden 10th bday, so semi-formal dress is required. Sh dropped her off after Sunday School and church and of course she's not wearing boots.
So far here today, it has been clear, sunny & cold, but not freezing. I think we started at about -20 first thing this am, but we're up around -6 or so now. Right now, they are predicting mixed precipitation for tonight, overnight & tomorrow - possibly rain, freezing rain and up to 5 cm of snow. We'll see.
