Okay here is a second thought that would use less paper... but, you'd need a sewing machine. cut your square cardstock in half then cut that in half ( so you have 4 quarters 6 inches square. set one aside. then take one of the others and was thinking you could use the top of a heart die to cut that shape but, it would just cut the heart. so. make an edge you like diagonally across that second quarter, wrap and tuck your lace on it. ( I use tape on the back side to hold it) then lay it on the first quarter and machine sew along two sides to make it a pocket.

you could size this down, depends on how much room you need for the printed piece with the info to tuck into the pocket.

These are cool (though I'd never pay that kind of money for costume jewelry. Good quality, but costume jewelry nonetheless): http://www.theshoppingchannel.com/St...s?nav=R:465993

I use a two-way glue pen to glue anything with little pieces!

only in the center... ( or layer something like a butterfly off set and use glue under the offset part over the lacy part of the doily)

I only have the one - the PTI one. It is solid in the middle, so I generally do the adhesive there. However, if I need adhesive on the lacy bits, I usually run it through the xyron.

I'm convinced that the pocket there has "tabs" on it. So they bring the lace out to the side of the tab, fold the tab back, and voila. Nice smooth edges when they glue it to the back of the thing.

Probably that red tape.

Like if you took your square, scored all the quarters then cut one quarter out? so the middle quarter in the corner would be the flat part and the other side would be the wings that fold in?
( with a huge circle cutter I guess) so that when they overlap they look heart shaped?)

DONT DO THIS ONE, Just killed an ugly piece of pp for trying.

Ok seriously, how would one even GET this into a bedroom? And how many people actually have a bedroom big enough (with high enough ceilings) for this thing to fit? Rocking Chair Bed

well... if you take a square and cut it in half then score the center, then take one half of it and cut it on an angle or score it on an angle you can make a pocket corner. but, it has a straight edge. so if that was OK and your lace was big enough, you could have the lace overhang the fold pocket so the edge is not rounded, its lace...

Ok, I have to ask the 5W questions. Who on earth would wear this? WHY? Why would one wear this? Where would one were this to? How could one possibly sit or do anything else with concrete on their back? etc. etc. etc. Spikey Vest

Stacy, you sure are on a roll today. Such Beautiful cards!

I did ink up my stamps, Swallowtail and Pleasant poppies. But I am not going to be able to color tonight. My eyes are giving me problems again. Thought I was getting better.

Spent money on all kinds of fun stamping toys and then the past two weeks I feel like I feel like I have gotten worst.

Well, my two physical therapy therapists have finally talked me into seeing my doc. My appt is tomorrow. Wish me luck. He will either tell me to stick with therapy or send me to a specialist. Don't know which one I am wishing for. I just want this eye problem going.

I miss crafting.

OK got it... take square score and fold the quarters. remove one quarter... take a bit ( callibur or large circle) trace on the two wing flaps and cut them to be half circles... then fold... will shoot some mug shots.

so I traced the spellbinders die ( grand callibur size ) along the two V flaps and then cut it with scissors... then folded it inside out to hide any stray pencil marks...

I think I need this too. "Lydia" 21pc Teaset in Purple Orchid Roses Discounted | eBay

Actually, I really am on the hunt for a GOOD teapot. I have three of them, and they ALL drip when I pour the tea. Annoying. I've tried putting on those rubber spouts that are supposed to stop the dripping, but they don't work on the teapots I have.
They had some cool teapots at a coffee shop at the mall (they don't have them online, or I'd link them) and I fell in love with the flower one and the butterfly one. But they only had really tiny, would-barely-make-a-teacup's-worth definitely not a mug-full size, or giant like 6-8 cups sizes. I need like a 2-4 cup size one.

well... I could not figure out how to make the back side look good... so sewed up the edges and stuck it on an card... trimmed down the original from an 6" square to a 5" square and then this base is 5 1/2" square... but, this would not be big enough to hold wedding deets on the vintage cream pull out sheet, had to cut that down farther ( less than 4" square to fit into the pocket after I sewed up the sides...) eta Janice made that flower... she has the softest yarn...
