right, so when I cut things by hand I do not have a problem cutting along lines... but whacking off the skirt on both sides free hand will not be pretty...

( I know this, Ive tossed much paper in my life) so, I think If I were to turn that stamp into a tag I'd have to die cut it...

or partially stamp it on a regular tag.

Now they're talking to God. Time to turn this off...not in the mood for this movie.

Just read a spot on the jacket, calling this movie "William Shakespeare's Rambo."

Well, more money is good- more stampy stuff!
But, it sounds like you are moving to something that you will enjoy, which is as much, if not more important than the money I think.

Well, there is a Shakespeare play called Coriolanus and IIRC correctly is based on the life of a Roman at some point in history. In general leaders in the Roman Empire tended to come out of the military, but I'm not sure I would consider "Rambo" an appropriate descriptive word. I think Coriolanus is one of the tragedies.

Maybe on another day I'd be able to watch it but after a headache all week, I don't really want to concentrate on what they are saying. So switching to Green Lantern. (Not much to pick from at the library.)

I think it is a modern time Shakespeare, with the rantings to the Gods. I get the tragedy feel to it but just can't sit and watch it tonight. I'll have to get it at another time and try again.

These are due back tomorrow. Then I have Argo and Flight reserved and ready for pickup.

Kelly, loved the show. I'll be watching the others. I'd LOVE to do that. It would be so fun. It makes me want to sew more. I'm in the mood now. LOL.

I just finished the second epi. It will make you laugh - at least the first half.
My two favourites have made it through, so I'm happy about that.
But the trailer they showed of epi 3 almost makes me not want to watch it as they show one of my favourites having a terrible time.

And whatever you do, don't go look up info about the show. I went looking up info about May Martin & Patrick Grant, and ended up spoiling myself & finding out who won.

Oh thanks for telling me. I probably would have!

I have three favorites right now... and one that might become a favorite.

Hope he can fix it for you quickly. Ironically, I had to turn the heat back on because it's in the 30s here today.

I took an instant liking in the first epi to Lauren & Sandra. I admire Mark for being willing to go against the grain if you like. Tilly makes me instantly think flibbertigibbet and Ann I find smug.

I have to do some kind of cleaning before he comes over (I did do a few things tonight. I at least need to get that area cleaned up (which happens to be my stamping area so he can get to the vent inside. at random times it feels like it's cooling

I think it would look less mean if the beak came over the edge of the face a bit instead of being all pinched in there like that.

Stacy,

I did not have a high school graduation party, but then I only had one party for my entire childhood--Christmas in eighth grade. We were moving so that was my Christmas present.

My kids each get a graduation party but it's their "whole graduation" thing. We don't do many official birthday or any other parties--sometimes "sweet sixteenish" if the kid wants one, but otherwise, nothing so one big party in a childhood is about what they get. LOL.

my son has had a birthday party ( which is really just a few of his friends spending the night, eating cake and ice cream ) on a saturday since about jr. high age I guess... never more than 4 kids spending the night. and so not really a "party party"

and he has never mentioned wanting one, I just was in panic mode.

we put the guilt trip int he move player though so, gonna say good night.

g'morning

ah J will turn 18 in March and graduation here will not be until June... so, The snarly part of my brain is saying... if you host the party you are not sitting at home wondering what is being offered at what ever party he attends if he does not have his own right?

I love it, because it fits with my sick obsession with googly eyes.

Pouring rain has settled in for the day, and I have to go shoe shopping.

Safety shoes are required in parts of my new area. The only place to get good ones around here is 45 or so miles away. Carp.

Safety shoes?! Wow, do you have to wear a hair net or hard hat too? What do you do again? I was thinking an analyst type position. Glad it's a position you'll enjoy more as you get closer to your retirement.

It's a dreary, overcast, rainy day at 36F right now, with a high expected of 45F. I think the calendar says May 4th.
