Nice bright sunny day here. I really should take the ac out & put the insulation back in. I've been wanting to do it for a couple of weeks, but have either gotten home after dark or it has been raining (and I need it dry outside when I do it). Of course, now that I have the right weather, I am not in the least motivated.............

Really need to at least make a start on cleaning off the craft table. Got my club order from when I was hostess, so I've lots of goodies to play with.............

Kelly, what floor is your apartment on? I would think taking out or putting in the AC could be a major production in some cases.

Stacy, that pumpkin is perfect for using on large prints because it's EASY to get just one slightly variated color without you being able to tell what the big print is. Particularly things like leaves, roses, etc.

I don't have to worry about what floor I'm on.
Not sure whether it was a previous tenant of the apartment, or the building management, but................. someone cut a HOLE IN THE WALL (and I do mean through the wall - inner wall, outer brick wall, the works) the size of an air conditioner - right under the bedroom window. However, that spot happens to be situated at the further end of my balcony. So my ac unit is actually on the inside. But because the hole goes through the wall, I have to put insulation in or I freeze to death in the bedroom in the winter. Since I don't want the insulation to get wet, I do it on a nice dry sunny day. And then I have to go out on to the balcony and use good ol' duct tape to tape a garbage bag over the space as a wind/water barrier. I supposed I really should get some heavier plastic, but I find that over time the duct tape loses its sticky from the brick and the plastic blows away and I have to replace it; so I kinda don't wanna shell out $$$ on expensive plastic KWIM?

Now I understand the AC situation. I was trying to figure out how you managed to install the ac if you were up high. Forgot about the balcony.

No, we just need to chat more!
Maybe with more peeps we will move a little faster. This has definitely been the longest it has taken for us to get through a thread.
That said, since we are significantly over the 5,000 - we should start a new one. If we start a holiday one now, maybe we will get through it in a reasonable time frame after Christmas?
Any suggestions?

Hmph. Threw a FROZEN SOLID roast and 'taters in the crockpot today when I got home from church.
The roast is done.
The 'taters are not. Now what to do!
