C, a local couple made the journal. I am always flipping out over their work. This is my favorite one ever! Seemed like a natural for you.

I got sidetracked trying to take a pic of my stash that I forgot to say that dd2's class was using gelatos the other day. I was trying to figure out what the teacher was calling them.

yeah, a couple things on my list were sold out between when I emailed my Mom and when she placed the order. Not too disappointed though, as none of it was stuff I really "NEEDED". The one thing that I most wanted (the snowburst EF that I somehow missed buying last year) I got, so I'm happy.

Dolls are for a friend's daughter. We're putting together a box for the family this year. Then, when the replacements arrive, I'm making a set for Lorna. These were supposed to be hers, but then we decided to do the family so...

This was my favorite item I sent Imogene... it was sold at convention this year and is in the demo memento mall on the demo only website.... matches the stamp set in the catalog...

Her favorite is the penguin and mine is the reindeer.

I got my hands on a vhs copy years ago, but of course now no longer have a vcr. I guess I should see if it is out on DVD.

Imogene this is one of the sets of movers/shapers dies.... there is another set of 4 and then the main card die with the curly label.... you need these

They are slightly larger than the matching punches, so you can have a shadow effect if u cut them only.

Imogene, I cannot thank you enough. I also cannot say how amazing it was to see what you sent--how much it was exactly what I would have bought.

The paper... I've had several of those in my cart several times and forced myself to kick them out. That snowy park stamp? I got all the way to checkout the other day! The Broken Road... I'm just amazed at how perfectly you chose for me.

Thank you. I'm sitting here in awe, drooling over that ribbon. MAN I LOVE THAT RIBBON.

And Braelyn was watching as I opened and kept going nuts over the stamp pads. "MOM! That color! THAT IS A GREAT COLOR!"

So thanks. I'm going to think of you with every word I write in that book (and probably curse you a few times too... JUST KIDDING).

Someone on another board I belong to asked what could they use to cut uniform felt circles. Someone's suggestion was MS punches.

I would say circle framelits, circle spellnbinders or circle sizzix dies, but I am NOT putting felt in my punches.

Oh, and someone else' suggestion was a cricut. I don't have one, so now I am curious. CAN you cut felt with a cricut?

Arlene, I'm losing the other game I'm playing... badly.

Wanna know how I learned to play well? I learned a few things.

1. the electronic versions let you play a "bad" word. So, you can try things with the two letter words and such that you otherwise might not if the word would be challenged. It just lets you start over if you get it wrong. I play a LOT of garbage that the other person never sees.

2. It adds it up for you. so you can try the same word in several places and it does the mental math for you. When I'm working with words, that's huge!!

3. For about six months, a friend and I played with a cheat board that we both used. We'd plug in our letters, hit send, and before we could see what was offered, we'd go play our word. Then we'd go back and see what we COULD have played. It really trained our brains to see how we could do better.

It is because they are the old felt pads and not the new foam pads

My Silhouette Cameo arrived yesterday and is sitting unopened/not wrapped under the Christmas tree -- just waiting on Christmas day to open my box.
