*insert jaw hitting the floor* I haven't checked the exchange rate in a while. Haven't really bought anything for some time and have been busy. Have the news running in the background and was flabbergasted to see that we are ABOVE par. Not sure how long it has been that way, but I don't ever remember it being above par in my lifetime. (At least, not for an extended period - I think it has flipped above par for a day or two a couple of times in the past year.)
Time to put $$$ in the pp I think and do some shopping.

And it's not fun to have a head cold and run out of tissues. Luckily I found a box in the downstairs bathroom that should get me through until tomorrow.
Braelyn got a message from a client asking about boudoir pictures. She said she didn't do them etc. So, the gal sent another message about the current photo session and the gal said, "Okay, well, I get laid every two weeks so..."
Oy. The christmas lantern and the poinsettias I have are just not the same style. They look odd together. So I tried just the poinsettias - don't like that. Just the lantern - don't like that. AAAAAAAACCCCCCCCCCKKKKKKKKK!!!!!!!!!

You know you might need to look into getting a new battery for your computer when the little battery icon on your computer, even plugged in, has a red x over it and your computer has a little message pop-op that says "consider replacing your battery".

so you are only online plugged in then?
(hopefully you can get a replacement battery.) seems like every time I try to get one
(not when the computers bought they wont make it anymore)
so, with the ones we have now I bought batteries for both of them when ordered and we have not needed them yet

Well, I just have to have the laptop plugged in with the power cord. But since I generally have the laptop on a tv tray and not on my lap anyway, that really isn't an issue. I've always charged it, pulled the cord out, when the battery runs low, plugged in back in. So I probably used it with it plugged in for a good chunk of time anyway. That said, I have noticed lately that the battery life is getting shorter & shorter. Doesn't even last an hour these days I don't think.

Stacy, from what Kevin tells me that you shouldn't leave it plugged in all the time. It actually weakens the battery. It needs to drain on a semi-regular basis. So, we charge it up and leave it charged for the first 3 days (new one) and then after that, we drain it once a week at least.
ok let me rephrase that... on Saturday I try to keep my computer on all day... and its plugged in right... but, its mostly on a footstool in the livingroom. so, eventually Grace will come along and unplug it wedging herself between the sofa and the footstool so eventually I will come in the house and find my computer dead... re plug it back in and try to get on the internet. ha.
so mine is drained weekly I guess.

I do have a back up battery for it though... have never switched this one out ever... its at least 3 years old I *think* ( not sure now) but probably 3 or 3 1/2 ish years old

I probably drained mine a couple times a week. But my laptop is now I think three years old, so I'm not too surprised the battery is kaput. Now whether I can get another one is questionable.

So one of the errands I ran today was to the store to see if they wanted the Martini cards... was told... they don't even want to see them until after the first of the year. ( so I get that they are doing inventory... but, when I was wandering around the store... I did not see my cards or any cards for sale at all) so.
I am half way thinking I will be too busy to bother with this again.
