what day does the Christmas book end? I have some of those poke the holes tool/ templates pages folded over and am debating how badly I "need" them lol...
I don't have my copy here (it's on my desk at work because I have to get my preorder and supplies done this week). But I believe it is January 3 as the last day for the SU Holiday Catalog.
I still need to grab those 3 mini punches (think I am skipping the matching stamp set) for my punch collection. I rarely let tools slide by..... (
let me find the book its template things with holes ( cant think of the name)
eta paper piercing pack # 127857 festive
I have bought all of the paper piecing packs, but honesting I have not used them yet.
I am collecting AND using all the framelits.... love them! Lightweight and handy to have.... at least I feel like I get spellbinders this way. I purchased slews of spellbinders and never use them since they are not SU
Two more days!
My boss owes me big time.
This week has been a nightmare. Trying to be "in charge" of a group of adults who
are running with scissors is not a pretty sight. I'm considering firing the guy who was
supposed to retire next Friday, so we don't have to spend Money on a retirement gift, and keep fixing his screw ups until Friday. Can you imagine my bosses' face on Monday when he says "where is so-and-so" and I say I fired him to save money on the retirement party.

Is SU coming out with a new full catalog soon, or just another mini?
I answered this 5 times this morning on my laptop and as soon as I hit the last word, I would lose the dang post... grrrrrr
SU CATALOG SEASONS
1. The Big Catalog or Idea Book will come on June 1st, 2013 and will end May 31st, 2014. Current big book came out June 1st, 2012 and will end May 31st, 2013... So remember the retired list for SU will now appear on May 1st each year. Also all 2011-2013 In Colors will retire May 31st... DO NOT WAIT UNTIL MAY to stock up on marker, reinker, cardstock, ink or DSP in the 2011-2013 In Colors... they go fast. These colors are: Calypso Coral, Island Indigo, Lucky Limeade, Pool Party and Wisteria Wonder.
2. The Holiday Mini catalog, which is no longer a small catalog... it is an 8.5 x 11 catalog runs until January 2nd I think.... It will now run from August 1st each year to Jan 2 each year.
3. The Spring Mini catalog, will run from Jan 3 each year to May 31st.
The only other "Catalog" you will see, is the SAB brochure. Remember for every $50 you spend, you earn one free item but ONLY during SAB dates (Jan 22? - March something).
today I woke up hungry. ( that used to be my normal) so it was kind of interesting...
its so cold that the kids truck the inside of the windshield was frosted over too.
( so, I went outside and helped / taught him to scrape windows... lol)
(I park inside the garage and don't have that problem)

Whew... I think it will actually post this time!
Thanks Arlene! That's kind of what I figured but just wanted to be sure.
Oh man... Delynn's Stew in the oven. Life is good.
On the homestretch with Savvy, Mac, and Rory.
What is Delynn's stew???? Care to share a recipe? I just realized this is the first fall, as an adult, that I have not made my mom's homemade stew recipe... got to fix that situation. Miss the warm homemade taste.
I just got my SAB brochures in the mail - to me.... not to my long distance customers
Funny... I used the mailing selector (something demos use to send out those mini catalogs and SAB brochures) and sent 3 to my address. Today 3 spring catalogs arrived but not a SAB brochure.
I just like to know the time frame they are arriving in my customer's mailboxes.
And dang, I meant to order a pack of spring catalogs and SAB catalogs on my preorder today. That way I have some for new folks.
Not typing well -- or rather using laptop mouse square well. I dropped the external mouse on the floor and NOT ready to get out of the recliner to retrieve it. Sorry the cats don't have opposable thumbs to help/
2lbs beef (I use London Broil, chuck steak, whatever is cheap)
1 onion
5 potatoes (largish)
5-8 carrots (depending on size)
one bunch celery
1 sliced package of mushrooms
Salt
Pepper
1 Lg can V8 juice
Tapioca beads
Chop meat into stew sized pieces.
Sprinkle with salt and pepper
Sprinkle finely chopped onion over that.
Layer Potatoes, carrots, celery, and mushrooms in that order. Do not stir.
Pour V8 juice over top
sprinkle with tapioca beads. About 2TBS but I just wing it.
I have lived on Halls Sugar Free cough drops for 2 weeks... finally down to about 3 a day.
Funny thing, I bought a HUGE bag of the menthol eculalyptus (badly misspelled) for my desk at work. Kids call them the nasty tasting cough drops and REALLY only ask for one when it is truly needed.
If I keep Honey Lemon or Cherry, the pretend and use them like candy... so I will be keeping the nasty flavor for us at work. I don't really care as long as they are sugar free and let me breathe.
well our low this morning was 15 and it was supposed to hit 36 ish... could turn the boobtube on and see if they are doing any actual numbers for today.
bet its colder at Kellys though

Not really. Our high today was right around 0C, which would be 32F. About 7 degrees or so above the average for this time of year.

hahaha your warm and my cold. might be the same temp LOL
Let me put it this way - I wore my coat when I left the office for lunch. I got outside & wondered what I had been thinking to put on my coat, 'cause I was too warm. I was wishing I had only grabbed my sweater.

Is that bowl huge? Because it looks awful small there! I couldn't wrap my arms around the bowl when I held it. Fingers barely touched if at all. Now I have short arms, but...
