g'evening. left work at 4 and it was already getting dark. ( chores are mostly done now though 'cept dinner) its so cold the roast I took out this morning did not thaw out.
I'm thinking about finding a tripod and shooting the bowl under the tree. ( its got lots of lights on)
anyways starving so will bbiab

you know what? I would expect that the reviewer has to see a lot of that... they are disrupting the day and the system and the kids know it... you know what I mean?
I would think that does not count against you at all to have them come disrupt things with their clipboard and what ever.

So ready to be done with this snow and cold temps! Took me 45 minutes to get to work this morning and it's normally only a 7 minute ride. I don't need to take the freeway so it was mostly waiting for cars to get through the intersection. Then I had to help ds2 with his French homework, have a Girl Scout meeting with 12 9-10 yr olds, and now my head is spinning so I am kicking my feet back with the tree lights on. *sigh*

What 60? No just kidding...how cold? It's sure a wake up call when you're not used to it. My back still hurts from shoveling the plowed stuff at the end of the driveway. I guess a teacher in one of the school districts died while shoveling yesterday.
yay for the feet up and the tree lights... got some tunes on too??
I know I am not looking forward to tomorrow. ( should be our first big amount of snow this year. )
Watching Parenthood first, then I'll put on the radio. We had 13" of snow in less than 24 hrs. Our first big snow, about half of what we got ALL of last year.

that is such a cool thing... I've never thought about decorating the lined pages of one and I think this is a really neat gift idea (I'm not all the way through all the pages yet that's just first top of my head comment)

It's a spin off a big part of the Past Forward books--the part of the books that really meant a lot to the gal I made this for. I gave her a set of colored pencils to go with it so she could decorate pages even more.
I started to give her just the brown tabs and then thought she might prefer colored ones.

Laurie, if your kitchen sink is stainless steel go run the water then rub your hands on the metal spicket the water comes out of... it makes that smell go away. ( dont ask me why) Its the stainless steel that does it...
they make and sell stainless steel soap shapes in kitchen gadget stores for that purpose... so I just rub my sink

And the next snow storm is possibly Sat and I'm supposed to go back cookies with my friend and her sisters 40 minutes away. Guess I better pack for overnight just in case.

Interesting. My sink is not stainless, and I also have a water filter on the faucet. All these little tricks will never cease to amaze me.
