I think I figured out part of the problem. I am supposed to start this week (yuck) and I always seem to get super exhausted the week before I start (and it didn't help that this past week was an emotionally exhausting week)
that's probably is it....like I always get so hungry, like bottomless pit
Today has been a rough day. LJ has been with me doing laundry. LJ is Laura Jill my niece. SHe also cooked my hamburger meat so I can make taco soup. Then she is boiling my chicken. I am going to sit here and teach her how to make chicken spaghetti.
My nausea is driving me batty.
Got my goodies wrapped for Secret Santa. LJ wrapped the box for me.
Took the kids to this holiday gathering at church today. We got there at 2pm, our scheduled time...easy because it's right down the street. But they were just doing the 1pm group because of the weather. They had me on the list for 4pm even though my invite said 2pm. I said I could come back but they said since we were there, we were welcome. Plus some of their elves/servers couldn't make it because of the weather. And it's STILL snowing!!! What a crazy day.
Our church has their Christmas program on 12/23. Dd1 has a part (and small solo) in the play. Dd2 is the only other one who's Sunday School class sings during the program (K-6 grade). The boys are relieved to not have to.
Layers for first set of 8 cards are cut, stamped, treated with Dazzling Details and set aside to dry. This sinus thing is kicking my butt today. Can't do anything for wiping my nose. Dropped a fully inked stamp on the new stove. Sheesh.

the tree is up... and its a much simpler version so, Im happy with it... I did not hang anything from hallmark on the tree. its all one of a kind bulbs or handmade stuff. so its cool. but, I am getting too old for this big of a tree I think... I think when J is gone I will do something smaller and much simpler. ( like a tiny live tree in a pot with just crocheted snowflakes or something ya know? )
aka this is the year of Martha Stewart does not live here
I got the advent calendar up too and that's pretty much it... stockings need hung still but... mostly done ( 'cept me and the living room is covered with glitter ) (this tree has fake snow and glitter on the branches or maybe that should read... had those things because I think a third of its on me now)
I have a space in the attic that is the same size as J's bed room and his bathroom filled with boxes of Christmas stuff... I think after I gift a bunch of it to him ( when he's moved out ) I will go through that stuff too... I feel overwhelmed by how much stuff we have somedays.
Ick...hate when I cook dinner and it turns out horrible.
Beef and Broc...always soooo yummy... Kroger never has the cut of beef I want so I should have just made a run into Publix the other day but was trying to get home before the in-laws got here... and the broc wasn't the greatest either. Oh well. We didn't eat out!
