I love this time of year. With channels all airing sappy movies & Christmas specials, for once there is usually something to watch on Saturday night!

I found something online for my Dad, but totally forgot to order it. No money in my pp at the moment, so even if I ordered it now, it wouldn't come in time. So annoyed with myself!

Evening! Waiting on hubby to get finished with dinner so thought I'd check in.

We did the 2 gs today...grocery shopping and gun shopping. Think we finally have decided on 2 guns trying to decide which one to buy first.

Also got the Christmas cards in the mail...YAY! Done for another year.

Home at last.

Lyla was so cute at her recital. DH is editing pics. Hope he got at least one decent one. It was no flash allowed in a dark auditorium.

After the recital, Lyla invited all grandparents to join her for lunch. Grandpa asked her where she wanted to eat. Her reply "some place fancy".

Christmas shopping was a total bust. I just couldn't do the crowd thing today. Most of our remaining gifts to buy will be gift cards, anyway. Just need 1 awesome thing for Lyla. Any ideas for a 3 1/2 YO who has a lot of stuff?

I've never handled weapons, but I've always thought target shooting and archery would be interesting things to try.

A little nervous...about to stamp for the first time in over a year. Actually looking forward to it, but have a list a mile long of cards I'd like to get done in the next two weeks.

We used to have to do archery in physical education and I always loved it. It was one of the few activities we did in those classes where I didn't make a total fool of myself.

Harvest Moon Cafe...

Pretty much anything other than McD's is "fancy" to her, lol.

Cyndee do you have your cards designed already? Once I figure out what I want to do, and make a sample, I can move pretty quickly. Anything I do this year will be CAS.

What place fit her definition of "some place fancy"? Too cute!

I bought Sweet Pea one of these last year, and she loves it! My First Picture Maker / Pre-School Fun / Products - Magnetic Mosaics Although it says 4+, my Mom had bought her one that was a sticky kind at the dollar store over Christmas andshe managed very well with it and really enjoyed it, so I took the chance. SIL said its great. Good for numbers and colours, but there is also the option for them to just use the magnetic board to make their own. I've bought Munchkin this one for her birthday in January. Magnetic MosaicsŪ Jr. / New Arrivals / Products - Magnetic Mosaics
Magnetic MosaicsŪ Jr. / New Arrivals / Products - Magnetic Mosaics

I've no experience of them myself, but colleague at work sings the praises of the innotab, and has bought one for her niece.

I know my nieces and nephews all have toy kitchens at their houses, and they get lots of use.

I've bought them all these as well: Non-Marring Building Blocks - Lee Valley Tools and they are as popular with the nieces as the nephews.

Last year's puppet theatre and puppets were a huge hit as well.

They all love playing dress-up with costumes, and my Mom has bought them all costumes for various birthdays/Christmas. The girls think these the most wonderful dress-up things ever: Disney Princess Sparkle Shoe Boutique : Target And fairy wings & princess crowns.

Playdoh is always a hit too.

Sweetpea also loves getting pony beads & other appropriately sized beads with nice cords for making necklaces. Even at 3, she'd happily play for an hour or more at a time with them. One of the only times she is quiet! Ball of energy that one!

Definitely doing CAS for this list but don't know exactly what I'm doing yet. I think I know which sets/stamps I want to use though, so probably just going to CASE stuff from the gallery.

ugh. I am craving SOMETHING, but I have no idea what. Have tried chips, chocolate, nuts, sweets, and am starting to feel full, but am still CRAVING! I seriously wish I could figure out what exactly I am craving because the craving is so strong I am about to go bonkers.

I was afraid to ask how much they paid for that costume.....but they only have one child, and she will wear that outfit again in her spring recital. The color looked amazing with her dark hair and eyes.

It is a beautiful color on her!

And speaking from years of experience, you don't want to know how much the costume cost.

Given what I've seen & heard of skating costumes, I don't think I'd be surprised.

Stamping on a spiral notebook takes incredible creativity and imagination. I'm sure no one has ever done anything like it.
