you know for the first 20 years of our marriage, yesterday my tree would have gone up without fail... and the last few years its been getting harder and harder to do it... and today J is not home and hubs is still working on the barn so... I think I am going to go upstairs for a while and try to get some thing done for VSN samples or something...

We are the same way about the tree, since the boys aren't home very much. We will get it up before the family comes for Christmas dinner, lol.

We are usually traveling the week of Christmas so we'd need to take it down before we left... just in case Mia decided to play with anything.
And... in the apartment, there just isn't much room.
This year, however, I think I do want to get a little bit of stuff out.

I always do Christmas decorations. Even in university I did a little mini 1 ft. tree. These days I have a pre-lit 4 ft. tree in a pot which fits very nicely on a little side table. Perfect size for an apartment. Usually decorate Dec. 1st, but might go ahead and decorate tomorrow if I feel like it.

I have two Christmas cards done ( with pre colored images) but, forgot to take my cheat sheet upstairs so have done no cleaning and nothing sample wise
maybe I should eat lunch or something.

okay 4 goes through 19 according to the blog (but 18 according to Amazon). I can't even check for you because some of the episodes won't let me archive them to keep them- it will only let me delete them when I have finished reading (which I don't like).

Package from American Girl was just delivered. Kristen told us her American Girl doll wanted a horse for Christmas, lol. It is such fun to spoil a child who didn't have much before.

do you get the pain from making cards?? loll no, but really, maybe you need to raise your chair. I used to get achy shoulders, but then I got a taller chair for the desk I had (at the time) and it really relieved it a bunch
and I need to figure out if I am going to preorder from the spring catty... what / if
I don't really "need" any sales this qtr
and since I am not ordering this month... I need to get an MDS download (was a recruiting perk from June) (I can get a free dsp, on demo order, or an MDS dsp{or really any item} each month til the end of the year)
I am getting ready to order some pizza (g-f from dominos) and work on lesson plans. AND, I am drinking a diet mtn dew (which I totally should NOT be doing)
I picked up a Nook. Wondering if my books on my Kindle for PC can be put on it? I so don't understand technology.
I picked up a new dvd player cuz ours is on the fritz...the lady asked if I wanted the one with wifi or without. Still don't really understand the difference so I got the basic one...probably going to regret it eventually.
No. They are proprietary so you can't. I checked since I'm thinking about getting one for Christmas.

I have arthritis in my neck. I can't take Mobic any more, so just about anything I do gets it going. Probably sitting in my chair looking down at this laptop causes it more than card making, lol.

Our tree isn't up yet either. Hubby did get it out of the attic but that's as far as it got. I'm thinking about getting a smaller tree because ours takes up too much space in our small living room here. When we lived in GA it was the right size but the living room was way bigger.

Pizza sounds so awesome right now. I have stuff I could put ON a pizza, but nothing that would work for the actual crust. And I don't really feel like mixing up dough. But maybe I should think about it.

Yes, it does help. I like the way heat feels on my neck. When the neck gets so bad that I have a headache, I sometimes have to put an icepack on it.
Dr. says alternating heat and cold is good.

I have osteoarthritis in my neck and the cold weather seems to make it ache worse and then there is the horrible pillow I sleep on that doesn't help.

The Mobic really helped me in colder weather. I have to buy good pillows. It makes a huge difference. I need a new one when the January white sales come around.
