and last night I hurt so bad. I have decided that after I run the half marathon in April I am sticking to 5K's or no more than a 10K (6.2 miles). I want to do the half just to prove that I can but that's it my body can't take much of it

With your previous back problems, I'm surprised you have been able to do this much running. You are getting in great shape.

that is an major accomplishment Tami so you will keep running though through the winter before April right? your not like stopping then starting again later?

I have come home from a most frivolous and indulgent shopping trip. I bought nothing but stuff for me that I don't really need, but just want.
New mini ereader, candy cane flavoured salt water taffy, candy canes, peppermint chocolate bar, a gc so I can buy more ebooks (the fact that I have unread books on mine already is immaterial ). Oh, and I ordered part of lilbro & sil's present. My Christmas shopping is almost done. Need to buy something for Doodlebug, something for my Dad (he is the WORST to buy for!), coffee for lilbro & sil, order stamps for my Mom and I'm pretty much done.
Now I am sitting down with a giant diet pepsi and I intend to indulge in bad-for-me-snacks, watch tv, chat with my chickies, maybe stitch a bit, and play with my new toy (which I'm sure will need to charge before I do much of anything).

I suppose, but I feel guilty indulging in junk knowing that 1)I really shouldn't. and 2)after reading about healthy peeples and exercising............. (though I definitely have no intentions of eating all the junk at once! Some of the taffy is for taking to work. I will have a few pieces, and maybe half a bar of chocolate. Tomorrow will likely indulge in a piece of candy cane.)

The "suggested" books in the ebook store really do make me laugh though. Five of the six books they are suggesting I've read already, at least two of which I've bought from them!

Is it bad that after talking to nutbar and/or annoying peoples on the phone all day, that I let my own phone go to voicemail when it was someone I wasn't really in the mood to talk to right now? (Not family. I always answer those.)

DH and I decided to go to Kohl's. Then ended up at Chili's, TJMax and Sbux. We didn't get out until 3:30 so I think we missed the big 'rush' of shoppers... it was rather pleasant...no huge crowds. No different than shopping on any Saturday.
I'm still fighting sinus mess. It was nice to get out but that totally finished me off...I could go to sleep!

And I was very bad and bought the purple snap on cover for my new toy. And I am very pleased to discover that the charging cords are the same, so I can continue to use the one I have, and put the new one away as a spare. Never a bad thing to have.

I was really surprised at how quiet the mall was when I went. I think it was actually quieter than a regular Friday night. Guess all the peeps went to play 'merikun after all.

I went to Kohl's too- bought a pair of jeans,-a pair of khaki pants and 5 or 6 shirts (3 long sleeves and 2 turtlenecks) and some cashmere socks. Then we did lunch at Chilis also (I ate WAY too much). We also did Target the line there was not long at all- Kohls was about 40 minutes
Chili's seemed extra good. I had fajitas. They've remodeled and it looks nice.

I love when I've bought nailpolishes some time ago, and when I wear them I fall in love with the colour all over again. I am currently having a love affair with OPI's Pink Before You Leap. I've worn it three days out of 5 this week. I should probably switch to something else. Have to decide what I am wearing on Sunday so I can do my nails tomorrow. Decisions, decisions. Anyone want to come go through my collection and pick for me?

I've just been googling, looking for a tutorial or directions for the matte nails someone pinned the other day. So far, all the links come up as pinterest pins which lead to just a photoraph, so no help there so far.
But I am finding all kinds of other nail stuff - I had NO idea there was all this stuff out there!
