That sounds neat. I'll have to pick up some epsom salts next time I'm at the store and give it a try.

I have the punch... sorry I don't have any extras -- sold my last extra in May.

We did it on Bashful Blue tonight and I tell you I was cold looking at it when it dried... looked so much like real frost on a window.

Okay off to bed for me... 5:30 is coming earlier and earlier! Thankfully only 3 more days til Thanksgiving Break . We get the whole week off . I have scans scheduled for Monday and chemo on Tuesday, thus not missing anymore work days this month.

I figure that eventually the price will come down on ebay and then I'll snatch one up. I just have to be patient.

I've had an apple. What I'd really like is soup, but haven't any canned in the house, and not sure I really want to go to the trouble of making any. I'd do a quick vegetable soup from instant stock mix, veggies and pasta - but I don't think I have any frozen veg - I think I'm out. And I really don't want to start boiling chicken at this time of night.

Did they? I thought it was in the holiday mini, then made it to the big catty the next year. Did it skip a year?

Apparently oriental trading doesn't know that. I was poking about on their site and they have sets of "monochromatic" buttons. The nice picture of the "blues" shows a nice big round button - blue with yellow polka dots!

But with the typing I do at work and at home, plus all the crafty stuff, I find that my nailpolish seldom looks decent for more than a day or two. I've had the salons tell me that it is because I don't properly do all the layers. So I did that. Base coat, two layers of colour, top coat. Took 2-3 hours (took at least a half hour for each coat to dry) - IOW, my whole evening. When I came home from work the next night? Almost half of them were chipped and I had to strip it. So I find it easier and faster to just do a single coat of colour. Takes 5-10 minutes, and I don't feel guilty about wearing a different colour every day. I will still do a rapid-dry basecoat if I am wearing a dark colour, just to protect my nails from yellowing. And then I still have most of my evening to spend doing the stuff I actually enjoy.

Morning chickies!
Still feeling a little off-colour, but it is a very busy day at work, so I need to go in unless I am deathly ill.
My stomach wasn't real happy with the soup I had last night, so it was tea for breakfast. ugh. I'm hungry & just want to EAT!

You need to wrap the layers around the end of the nail to help avoid the chipping.

Morning.

My favorite couch is going in the trash today. It's the perfect shaped sectional for the basement. The time has come, 20+ yrs later it's showing it's age, and it's too expensive to recover it and replace the nine back pillows.

I must admit I did order a holiday OPI mini bottle set of nail polish from QVC last week. Santa stocking stuffers for us girls...don't think the boys will mind if they don't get any.
