you and me both Imogene... I got the last goodies delivered last weekend but, I wasnt home and this week just FLEW so... friday... maybe tomorrow night I can start wrapping and I want to stamp some images for it too...
he ate some (chicken only wont touch the rice) when I got him home ( about 3 hours ago now) and he's sleeping... but, he wont touch his dog food. this morning he wouldnt even touch the rice with chicken in it... I had to pick the chicken out for him.
hubs just got home, so he just work up and is headed to the back door now.
our farm and garden store had some food ( dry ) that is for sporting dogs ( that get skinny during hunting season... it puts weight on them) he doesnt like it... it only comes in 50# bags... ( guess how many pounds I have left?)
before this week if you had asked me I would have told you he is fighting. I think that has changed now. I am offering him everything under the sun. he only wants treats or chicken. or any kind of meat actually.
I would try to find some and give it a try. With tiny weak puppies, you could rub it on their gums, and their bodies absorbed it. They would then get strong enough to eat on their own. The extra calories would help him, if he likes the taste enough to eat it.

coffee with baileys sounds tempting... but, have not cooked dinner and hubs is snoring on the other side of the sofa... ( I think he is napping because, he knows they will call him out there tonight... so, Im letting him snore
I bought a box of coconut water at costco yesterday... to try because I was curious...
gross, very gross...
drank half and dumped the other half... *sigh* this was spendy... and I still have the rest of the box... may have to take it to work on monday... (evil grin)
Does your DS play sports? It is apparently a very good "sports" drink. You could always try giving it to him & his teammates?
And I have to say - I've had the "real" thing, straight out of the coconut, and......... did not particularly like it. The only time I would drink it was if we were out in the jungle hiking somewhere. Nasty-tasting coconut water straight out of a fresh coconut was infinitely better than contaminated with who-knows-what-awful-organism water.
That said, there are a lot of people who really like it, some of my own family members included.

It almost has no flavor... but, it was salty... and I have to be in the mood for salty... and it left an aftertaste... so guessing it was the processing packaging that did it... Ive had it out of the coconut fresh too. ( this is not the same )
yep, the kids on the wrestling team will get him to try one too... lol
but, he much prefers things with SUGAR in them like Pepsi... so, being a pepsi addict I dunno if he will drink it either... he's started drinking capri sun's for his sugar fix since the wrestling started last week.
Kel, have you ever thought about making simple (small) tags from your scraps for your card sale boxes? ( I know those sell bestest for me...) and so doing it with scraps means, Ive already made a card or something bigger from those papers/cardstocks so there is not a huge push to sell them for big bucks so, I can let them go for .50 cents - 1.25 ( larger fancier ones) and that adds up quick...
