"Christmas is love with all the trimmings"
retired, on clearance rack
Contempo Christmas set
Ah ha! I knew I'd seen that somewhere really recently. Mom's & my clearance rack orders came on Dec. 24th and we opened them in the afternoon on the 25th and she ordered that set.

Fingers crossed chickies - I haven't been sick in six hours or so, so am attempting to get something other than water into my system. Having a gingerale and nibbling on a peeled, cored & sliced into thin strips apple. I really want toast, but only have a couple of slice of cinnamon/raisin bread in the freezer and that probably isn't the best thing to start with.
I don't feel too bad, except that with all the coughing & whatnot I did earlier, I think I pulled a muscle in my side and sitting up hurts.

He has family in- I did text him and say if he had any time tonight I would like him to try. As of right now I haven't heard back from him. I think I'll probably just make a stop at the local lazyboy store and have them show me again how to do it. Maybe I can figure out what I am doing wrong
My college alma mater is playing Texas Tech in Tx so it's on but I'm not really watching. I had a movie on that I'd already seen then I remembered the game was on. Even my Grandma's wake on Sunday is now early afternoon to accommodate the football fans since MN will be playing against the GB Packers. (One uncle has season tx and it's a home game.
okay- it wasn't me it's something up with the chair. There is something wrong with one of the tracks and then the piece it goes onto is bowed out. Calling the place I bought it in the morning to see what they say. Going to bed because I have a headache from crying
I have opened a case against the ebay seller with the hm stamp... the time limits 45 days and its been 36 since I bought it... and I dont want to forget while I wait around for them to do something...

Neighbor on the other side is snow blowing his driveway...it's light snow and not even 2", only took us 20 minutes to shovel our drive and it's bigger than theirs. Really too much noise for this time of night. Hope the baby on the other side sleeps through it.
some people eh? ( are you supposed to get more tomorrow?)
my aunt and my cousin ( that live in the riverside type area of CA) are headed up here this weekend... people who live here are crashing or sliding off the roads left and right... so this is nerve wracking.

I'm looking forward to New Year's lunch. We will eat at the Inn. She has all the traditional New Year's fare, which tends to be healthy. (greens, black eyed peas, etc.)
Banana pudding for dessert, YUM.

I was going to bring some leftover cracker/veggie dip to work on Monday but now will be at the funeral. Guess I'll have to freeze it now and bring it in on Wednesday.
*My dad's mom passed away in her sleep Christmas night. She hadn't been doing well lately and had her last rights read to her last week (probably the 5th time in the last 6 mos). Dad is one of 8 kids, all with kids and grandkids so imagine the drama. This family was supposed to get together Sunday night for the holiday, now she'll have us all together whether they intended on coming to the party or not. She'd have wanted it that way.
I'm going to go through my retired stamps and list them in groups on Ebay. I tried them here individually, and only sold a few. They have to go. If they don't sale on the bay, it is off to the school art program.

Imogene, you'd hate this football game. It's up, tied, down, tied for scoring all night long. Penalty after penalty, called back scores, and ejections...why do I even still watch it?
...because I'm too lazy to go put in another movie.
