So hubs is not home, J is asleep...So I let my hair dry on its own. well I just finished it off was going to go upstairs and wrap that last thing and so I just put my ears on... there are two huge boxes on my back porch. I did not order anything. so, I'm trying to decide if I am supposed to not be the person to find the boxes lol... ( because, I did flash that sizzix die cutter at hubs last week) and he has not mentioned ordering anything either.
Yep, I got myself a Nook Tablet on BF, ordered a cover online that was originally backordered, then delayed with a do you want to substitute, now it just arrived. So Santa can wrap them together or each, however Mrs Claus decides.
It's sooooo quiet around here, can't even hear any cars on the "busy" street nearest me. I don't think I've ever been "home alone" on Christmas Eve because before I got married I worked at Target so would always be working during the day.
I read something or seen something ( may have been the today show this weekend some time...) they were talking about if you bought things like electronic things for kids to have charged it all ahead of time before you wrapped it... ( so kids had no wait for it to charge thing) and I thought, I have never done that in my life. it surprised me...
hey you guys let me know if/when you get the SAB brochure and Spring Catalogs from me
please, there was a goof at the mailing house and I got them all here.... so
they are re-sending them - not sure when they will arrive
last minute groceries fetched Check
well drillers called Check ( supposedly this is an one hours worth of work job to start at 3 pm because the guy doing the welding has to be IN Church at 6... so cross your fingers)
but, its better than they called at midnight.
gotta sneak upstairs and wrap that last thing... I was sent to the store Alone lol...
Long, but good day.
Cleaned, cooked, even did some windows. (funny how you notice them w/the Christmas lights on)
Skyped with DS2, DIL and 2 grands, while they opened gifts from us.
Lyla and her parents just left with all her loot.
Gonna unwind and rest for a while.

its only at that end... see the barn in the background out the window? there are huge old russian olive trees between the garage and the barn also so in the summer the way the light goes its much darker. this was shot at the best time of day at this time of year. around 3 ish... 3:30 ish... shot a tag a little before 5 and its darker I think... I have not tried to make something in the dark in this corner yet.
I have some floor ott lights I can drag over there if needed.
the other end of the room ( east side) has the same size aluminum ( so they sweat) windows... and there is bird do on the outside since this is you know second story I cant just run out side and wash the windows... so I stuck this doily on a mini step thing trying to distract from that. haha.
