DH had requested on Christmas that I remake the overnight French Toast again for New Years.....forgot to pick up some corn syrup! He most really want it cause he's offering to go to Walmart and pick some up!!
2T Corn Syrup
1/2 C Butter
1 C Brown Sugar
1 Loaf Apple Cinnamon Bread
5 Eggs
1 1/2 C Milk
1 Tsp Vanilla
1/4 Tsp salt
Combine corn syrup, butter and brown sugar in a saucepan and simmer till butter has melted and sugar is dissolved. Pour into bottom of 9x13 inch pan. Place bread slices over.In bowl, beat eggs, milk, vanilla and salt. Pour over bread. Cover and put in refrigerator overnight. Next morning pre-heat oven to 350. Uncover and bake for 45 min. Serve warm but tastes good when cooled too!

Took me a while to figure it out, too, Stacy.
I must have linked to this thread just as you were moving over here.
Spaghetti was good. Now to try to stay awake until midnight, lol.

Stacy do you have a store called 5 Below there?? It's a dollar store where everything is $5 or less. Anyway they have those laptop board fans there for $5. Saw them and thought about getting one but our laptops don't seem to need them?? I always keep mine elevated some off the table though for air flow so maybe that's why??
I'm celebrating new year's eve by turning the thermostat up 2 degrees. For some reason, I can't get my nose and toes warm today. I can add another pair of socks, but can't do much for the nose.

My DH is "cooking" me out tonight, has the fireplace going and it's hot in here! Just had to turn the ceiling fan on.
I haven't had "hot flashes" yet but i have noticed that i don't get as cold as i used too so maybe it's just around the corner??!
Lucky you! I would love not to have them. Recently they have been every night and usually several times a night. All I can do is uncover and lay in bed saying stupid hot flash...LOL
