I am using my Wii Fit plus loving the entertaining exercise much better than stairing at the room when I am on the treadmill.. One of the things I did today... I did a lot of leaning, bending and swaying and arm flapping while I tried to land my seagull self on to a pillar post in the ocean...
my arms are tired

Here are my goals...some long term & some short term:

Cut back on my diet coke & drink more water. Been doing good this week.
Lose 25 pounds before my 40th birthday. Got two years...
Lose 10 pounds before end of February for a new dress for my cousin's confirmation.
Complete 5k this spring
Doing the Couch to 5k program to achieve above goal
Cutting out a lot of carbs but trying to get healthy as well

Lots of goals, but I think I can do it. DH lost 65 pounds in a year so he thinks with exercise & eating better, I can achieve the 25 pounds much faster. First time he has been that optimistic. lol

Here is the program Cathy. Just scroll down & it gives you the break down. Some sites wanted $20 to download, but this is free. They also have a page on facebook.

lol. You are making me very hungry for a brownie. I love the allergy to sugar & chocolate as well.

I did not exercise yesterday because I was still down or weak from being out of commission on Wed. Feeling better today & hoping to get on the treadmill sometime today. Was a little sluggish with getting all of my water in yesterday, but I only had one diet coke & I think my head is paying for it.

Also afraid I am not getting enough calories, but lets see how today goes. No carbs yesterday, except for my allowable low sugar fruits. I have never been a fan of yogurt but I so enjoyed my vanilla lite & fit yogurt last night.

Okay...here is 2/1. I am now, again allergic to sugar/chocolate/junkfood/second and third helpings....haha.

Or course, the real test is today b/c I have to make cookies with some ladies. And I love dough. I love cookies. UGH.

I also have to figure out how to get some exercising time in. Ken works from home nearly every day...and he's in the basement next to the bike and treadmill. So this is goign to be tricky.

Welcome to the new allergies Dawn! It is hard that is for sure!

That is my hard time, finding the time to exercise. I hate getting all messed up after showering, then to take another shower to run kids places. I know....would I like some cheese with that wine (which I would snatch out of your hand so quick!).

I want a great big sandwich with bread or after the news of the loss of DH's friend, I so wanted a great big hamburger from Red Robin. But I have held off & might have lost 6 pounds in a week.

I didn't get all my water in yesterday & I am noticing the headaches that I get if I don't. Funny how a little life changes will make you notice stuff like that. Today, I am going to hit the treadmill for sure. No extra kids & carpool until almost 3:00, so no excuses!

I'm getting ready to go down stairs for day five. Wow...my weeks past quickly. I wish I was a stress starver instead of a stress eater!! But...maybe the exercise is helping with my stress too! I just weighed myself,e ven though I didn'tw ait for a full week! I'm keeping track of my food intake.

I'm going to a book club tonight> i'm thinking about NOT bringing a dish to pass. That way I would feel doubly bad for eating and not bringing! hahaha. Whatever it takes, right?

what ever it takes Dawn..I am so busy right now I forget to eat and at the end of the day I drink alot becasue I havent drank anything either. so now I carry a waterbottle where ever I go ... I did get a good meal tonight at my meating but it was just soup and salad...It wasnt a ton of food but it was very good...and a piece of cake for dessert...

I have been going up and down a lo tof stairs and walking around sotres and other stuff so I think I am getting a lot of exercise..but stress is their also so I am taking my Vit C alot because I read the article about Vit C warding off the belly fat you get from stress...which is definately where all my belly fat came from so I have been diligent with my C so my immune system is strong and the belly stress stays gone..hoping that it can help reverse it a bit too...wouldnt that be wonderful

Keep up the good work and when this is hospice stuff is all finished and over I will do my Wii fit almost everyday also. I promise!

okay, just weighed in for the week...down 2.8 pounds from last week! I'm sure part of it is just where I am at in my cycle. But...of course, not eating junk all day long helps! I'm well on my way to reaching my goal!
