Well, I'm still waiting to hear about the job I applied for. There is a layoff candidate, so they have to go through that process. It would be such a fun job!
I have an appointment on Friday to get a referral to the orthopedic surgeon for a knee replacement. Hoping to hear something about the job opportunity before I have a surgery with a 6 week recovery period!
well I am an hour late but...I have some laundry in the dryer and washer so it will be a while until I go to sleep probably an hour.
any one around to chat

I was having major pain in my pinky toe, of all things
developing hammer toe. so I had surgery to cut, then move a tendon...cut off a major corn/callous thing
I have been taking pain meds...making me soooooooooo sleepy! Still trying to do work at home.
I may come by tonight to chat...if there is anyone else around

Meds are a good thing - you don't heal as fast when you are tensing from pain! Hope you're feeling better and better, Kim. Tell Bruce he needs to be cooking whatever your heart desires!
I'm feeling like a slug today. Had company last night - a really good friend I haven't seen in a long time. We had dinner and talked and talked and watched a little "Doc Martin." She left this morning, so now I need to figure out what to do with my day. She headed to Portland to help her daughter with wedding plans. She asked me to design a little note card that can be put in gift baskets. That should get me into my craft room!
So sorry Kathy! Time is flying so fast! I've been hanging out quite a bit with Keri, and Evelyn has been here a couple of times, and I had another friend visit. Seems like all I've been doing lately is changing the bedding in the guest room! Thinking about getting my craft-on one of these days, though!
Evelyn and Keri and I are getting together tonight - so that should be fun, but we won't be around to chat. Evelyn is in town tomorrow night as well, and will fly back to Spokane Saturday morning.
I keep rewatching the episodes. He really entertains me! His facial expressions crack me up!
agreed.. I am into season 3 my DH watched an episode with me.. last night he jsut said Well that was fun... in a most sarcastic tone.. It was an episode that would not be any good unless you had seen the others.. .OH wellll.. I like it.

Ken had surgery a week ago MOnday...and the pain meds just made him "out of it" too! I see on FB that you are continuing to heal...as uncomfortable as it is. Tell Bruce I said that he's top notch for taking care of you!!
Did you guys see that there is no more Divine Secret Siblings...now there is a new Swap forum called "Secret Sisters." I am hostessing one of the swaps...and made 5 or 6 cards this afternoon/evening....such fun.
WOw...really started getting my mojo revving...to stamp for fun again! haha
