Is crawling onto my couch with a pillow and soft cuddly blanket and there I will stay the remainder of the night with my hot chai.... =sick as a dog...
I reached toast-stage on Tuesday! Apparently the stress of the past year finally caught up with me - and really messed with my body! Intestinal issues, major breakouts including a huge zit on the END of my nose which was really attractive! Canker sores, AND sore muscles so I couldn't even turn my head. Feeling better and much more relaxed....still have lots of sore muscles in my neck, shoulders and back, but relaxing is helping. I have made some cards this week for the HYCCT challenges, and intend to send them to UT MD Anderson at the end of the challenges.
Happy Sunday ,it is a beautiful day,crisp and cold and sunny. That is one of the things I do Love about Spokane even though it gets cold the sun does shines through. Today will be insane for me, as I need to get myself ready for the entire week as I am out of town most of it, I have managed to book myself on a flight at the same time I have a dr apt , I will need to sort that out first thing in the am . A week that should have been a simple became totally twisted with a must be at meeting in Yakima and a can,t cancel activity on thurdsday night .

Had a wonderful trip up in Duluth...we did so much in such a short time..
Drove to Duluth Wednesday and we went to a maritime museum, watched large ships come in and out of port, toured the Coast Guard Museum with my DD's SIL... went to, Gooseberry Falls State park, Split rock Light house Historical society site, Split rock State park, Fri we drove 3 hrs up the whole MN length of Lake superior went to the Grand Portage national monument, Toms trading post got some great gift items and mementos, drove over to Superior, Wisc. to get a Burger...(a great burger) on Fri night, and finished up at a local park and Railroad museum on Sat... every night the boys and DH enjoyed the pool.. I soaked in the hot tub Th cause it was a hiking kind of day...
I took over 300 pictures...it was a nice little vacation.
Glad you're back, Kathy, I was wondering what happened to you. I was hoping that you were over being sick! Evelyn and I have been crafty the last 2 nights. We're playing with the new Spectrum Noir alcohol ink markers and LOVE them! That's why we haven't been chatty on the thread!
I have also done all but the last couple of days of the HYCCT challenges.
Evelyn has been complaining about her BUNION pain! I laugh out loud when I even "think" that word!

Today I had to run to my FIL because he wanted a picture of his door knob to be emailed to the manufacturer...so they could replace it.
Then ran to the PO so I could get some mailing envelopes so I could mail some gifts to my DGS for Halloween... when I got home I kept calling my son to find out what he was doing upstairs...next thing I know he says OH my your here...seems the toilet got plugged and he didn't know what to do the toilet over flowed and really flooded everything.. had to clean up the mess and do some laundry and other stuff so I could get to the church on time for our Trunk or treat activity...had to leave over and hr earlier than normal and be in costume and have dinner fixed...it was crazy but a fun evening and DS has been taught how to shut water off , where the plunger is kept and, how to stop the toilet from running water quickly...
it was Fun!
I did make my DGS Halloween cards...using "Bump in the Night!" I think they turned out very cute.

I just finished placing an order with Crafters Companion for 2 of the 24-packs of the Spectrum Noir markers, and some of their paper they say is the best for those markers. Hopefully they will ship quickly! I can't wait!!!

And all the fun we had planning how to purchase our markers to get the best possible discount and the most possible packages!
Did not get home from Yakima until 10 PM and then up at 6:30n and at it again . Left at 4:00 only to have to return aafter aI went to pay for groceries and realized no wallet . so back to the office and then back to the store. I am now at home with a friend she is crating I am just putting my makers on the sheet so I know what I have , I am so fried .
UPS says that my order from Crafter's Companion - 2 24-packs of the Specrum Noir markers will be here next Wednesday! Oh, and JoAnn's did get in the 6-pack markers sets that I still need......but they won't have them on the sales floor for a couple of days. WHAT? You can't sell what's not on the shelf. DOH!
I just woke up from my nap and feel among the living again. Geez, the weeks are so long any more... Just got to the craft room, but not really feeling the mojo yet. I think I need my Blues, Turqouises and Yellows from JoAnns!
I checked in but no one else had so I went away....I know shame on me.. I just didn't believe anyone else would stop by I checked after your marker post last night.. congrats by the way sounds like a fun thing...I dont need anything new I just need time to use what I have...
