we were terribly hoton the 4th...spent it at my FIL...he had the wrong vents open downstairs so most of the cool air stayed down stairs where the kids were playing.. upstairs just got too warm...came home exhausted...

We had a gorgeous 4th here. Today it was a bit warmer - 77, but that feels pretty hot here. Supposed to be very warm this weekend.

Me too! Yesterday felt like a very short weekend, and then today felt like Friday. It will be tough heading to work tomorrow since it feels like Saturday!

me too.. its been abt 100 every day since last TH...luckily today it did low 90's..tomorrow is suppose to be cooler...

I had a meetingb w/ 2 sstaff who haven't been working well together. I set some parameters, fresh expectations...

they started talking about things that had upset them...

one is more verbal than the other, and said some very harsh stuff. Had n o clue it was sso blunt until I pointed it out

that combined with other factors over the last 2 months...I had to let her go

Today I was doing her job and my job and tryhing to get things covered for tomorrow

We are fortunate in our office that people get along so well. We don't have a lot of that sort of thing. We do have negative people who try to get people stirred up, but people aren't "nasty" to each other.

Usually people get along. This gal was newer...started well, but never fit in

I found some fake gem flowers at Michael's - they're about 1.25 inches across that I'm making paperclip bookmarks out of. They are turning out pretty cool. I hope people will buy them!

I need to find My self control again... she got lost around the wedding and is playing hide and seek.. all the BBQ food is bad news just caught myself munching on a bag of BBQ potato chips.. I need to get back on it before I cause too much damage...

I generally eat less in the summer...heat reduces my appetite

except for Ice Cream!!
