afternoon ladies!
had my dad come by and fix my light in the kitchen... the ballast went out in it... so go new ballast (last one of that size) and one of the plugs didnt work (2 circle bulbs)
so we ended up getting a whole light, and taking the ballast out of it (which was actually about $1.50 cheaper than the part)

the question is where were they parked because there was certainly no sign of a car/truck anywhere around. Plus, I had internet for about an hour after I got home and then it quit.

But, it's definitely possible

Janice,
I would LOVE 2 or three of each those images

I had my cards to sell at the moon circle, (sold only 1) but met a guy who owns a dggie spa.... says he'd love to sell my cards in his shop. I have a couple dog images, but I don't usually go for the dog kwim

and the cutest one I have from Stacy, of course is Whipper Snapper
and I still have some images from Laurie of the boy and his dog (elzybells)

I just mentioned the Elzys, because I know I like her art and I knew there were dog ones

I can check the stamps I have and the images I've received through PIF and wishes and see if there is anything you would like to use.

There must be other companies with more friendly angel policies that have dog stamps. We'll just have to find them for you.
That would be totally awesome for you if you could have a place to consistently sell cards!

How long does opened sour cream last in the fridge? We're not much on the stuff, but I used some to cook with a while back and now need 1 cup of it for a cake recipe... The date on it is later this month...but it's been opened a while...

Making this: Monkey Squares | The Girl Who Ate Everything
and
this: Fresh Strawberry Yogurt Cake
to take to Bible Study Tues a.m.

LA, found some at My Favorite Things.

Friends Furever

Gone to the Dogs

By the Seashore

Let's Go for a Walk

Pink Cat Studio

Dog Plate 1

High Hopes has quite a few. (They are under new owners who seem to update regularly, so might be quite safe to order from them now. I haven't yet, so I've no personal experience to speak of at this point.)
High Hopes Rubber Stamps: creative stamps for scrapbooking and card making
I'm not a dog person, but the three I like best are the Scotty Dog, Ice Cream for Two and Watson.

And those were only the ones I could think of/find quickly. I'm sure there must be more.

Sour cream can usually be used several days past the due date even.

I have a couple boxes of Doggy stamps... will stuff you an envelope ( some are all kinds cute to realistic ) and dog sentiments....

that is a cool thing, so this way you can put together a wider variety. ( are you gonna let him pick what he wants to buy from you and re-sale?) or just have it be like a he collects the money if he sells one thing? ( just curious)

I got a show tunes idea while I was driving around, Had to follow hubs to the ford dealer ( dropping off a truck ) and haul him home, pick up paint for the rental, pick up the kid la la la...

but, is the sound of music a "show tunes" ( thinking... these are a few of my favorite things...) but, I have not looked at that galleries samples at all.

I would think so. After all, it was part of a movie musical.

yeah was reading her thread... she actually mentions that show. so its a good to go one.... so, hopefully no one made something like that already. the hard parts going to be finding/creating the words.

(thinking I meeybe have something that could work if its stretched)

the monstermash i watched it... but, lol the things that struck me was a vampire was playing the piano ( twilight dejavu) lol and a witch rode a broom. ( I probably have a witch stamp, but not a vampire)

Stacy- that's the first song that came to my mind!

and I know!!! on the going over thing. The thing is- I probably wouldn't have gone into the house part (because the router is in the garage) unless I had called my landlord to talk with him about it and he said go into the house. Just makes me thankful and realize that I was being protected

Raindrops on roses and whiskers on kittens
Bright copper kettles and warm woolen mittens
Brown paper packages tied up with strings
These are a few of my favorite things

Cream colored ponies and crisp apple streudels
Doorbells and sleigh bells and schnitzel with noodles
Wild geese that fly with the moon on their wings
These are a few of my favorite things

Girls in white dresses with blue satin sashes
Snowflakes that stay on my nose and eyelashes
Silver white winters that melt into springs
These are a few of my favorite things

When the dog bites
When the bee stings
When I'm feeling sad
I simply remember my favorite things
And then I don't feel so bad

[Repeat all verses]

I actually took a nap earlier. Now I can't get going again. That always happens to me when I nap during the day.

I do that too! And my kids hate it. But they know I'm crazy so they were already gonna need therapy.

Finished! I need to have a talk with my stitchy friend who is organizing the quilt stitching though. She told me it would only take 3 hours to stitch my block. Uh huh. Try more like 10.

Jen - I saw you pinned some hot chocolate spoons. I pinned these a while back and thought you'd like to pin them too.

This particular pattern, no. But, there is a reason the people in the group refer to her as the bionic stitcher. She gets through more stitching that anybody I've ever met.

I wish I could do that, but I also like taking my time. Makes it more relaxing.

She does take her time I think - but she is just simply a fast stitcher. And she is retired.
She probably gets through almost as much stitching in two months as I get through in a year. And the last couple of years I've gotten through a LOT!

She probably gets through almost as much stitching in two months as I get through in a year. And the last couple of years I've gotten through a LOT!
Do you give them as gifts mostly?

As horrible as this sounds - I have no idea!
It is basically an open group. We meet at x place at x time on a weekly basis. Show up when you like, stitch (or we have a couple people that knit or crochet) on whatever you like - it's BYOP (bring your own project), bring a friend if you want etc.
Some nights only a dozen people show up. Some nights more than 30 people. Some people come every week, some people come only once a month. I don't think we've ever all been there at the same time.
At a rough guess, I would think we have at least 40-50 people all told, but that really is a guess!

Kel, do you meet at a yarn shop or something? Sounds like it is a pretty big group at times.
