evening! quick peek in- want to get these lesson plans typed up tonight. I want to go hiking this weekend and to do so I am making myself have everything done!
I am always surprised when I see real pics of CBCs. Somehow, no matter whether the avatar is that person or not, the avatar is what I "see" when I think of that person.

Got out of work quite a bit later than I had intended (and didn't get half done of what I hoped too - spent half my time answering the silly phone) and had to rush rush rush to get to my hair appt. on time. I probably got 3-4" taken off. I like the length - it is short enough to straighten if I want & still look decent, and will also work well with my usual wash, mousse to hold the curls from frizzing and go style.

Ok, so alcohol/distress ink peeps. I do not own any. Why do I need them? What do you do with them that can't be done with regular inks?
If I was doing something like this: Card Ideas / Christmas card (the inking on the edges of the dsp
1)What colour(s) would you recommend for something like that?
2)Is it done by sponging or some other method?
DIstress inks, they stay wetter longer, so they blend better, and give a bit softer look that say SU dye ink, (and they stay wet on the sponge IMO,almost forever) I much prefer them the SU ink, for that edge technique. I use makeup sponge (the triangles) or just use the ink pad direct to paper. I also mark a sponge per color, but you certainly CAN rinse them out, though I agree with Stacy, washing down the drain.
You can also watercolor with them, just like any dye ink, and the purple doesn't turn pink or blue with water
the first color I got was walnut stain. which is rather dark, ok VERY Dark
I watched a series of videos the other day and the gal also started with the Walnut Stain, but after having them ALL, she recommended the Vintage Photo for a nice brown. ( I don't have it LOL, nor do I have the Antique linen or something old? Paper, those I think are really light)
and for you, I also recommend Dusty Concord
the other brown that I have that I like is Tea Dye (kinda creamy caramel ish)
I also for brown have Brushed Courderoy and Frayed Burlap, and I don't reach for those even 1/6th of the time I reach for the others.
I almost couldn't make anything without them, because I love the inked edge look... but haven't much lately trying to do things I can show at workshops

she specified everything CTMH unless noted (at the top of the list) lol
Stacy, do you have any of the new seasonal colors?

It must be a purple shade?

*sigh* I re-synced my phone with my gmail. BAAAAAADDDDDDDDD idea. It deleted all my email addresses from my main email account. I had email addresses in there for people I don't hear from that often and whose address I now don't have. So annoyed.

I think I will be very rapidly UNsyncing the email & the phone. Which is a pity, 'cause I like getting a notification on my phone of a new email, but it isn't worth it if it is going to do crazy stuff like that!

on the iphone you can go back to your previous back up i wonder if yours would allow that?
The problem is, it isn't the phone it deleted the addresses from - it deleted them from my main email account! When I go into contacts, it has completely wiped my ENTIRE contacts list!
Fortunately, that is the email I use primarily only for family - so I should be able to rescue the vast majority of the contact list just by going through my email history and re-adding contacts.
It is nevertheless annoying. As this is the second time I've tried to set my phone to have email notifications from this address and had major issues, I think it is also the last. I don't think I will try again. Easier to just go on the internet on my phone and check the email from there.

That is wierd Kelly! If I delete anything from my phone email, it is still in the main email acct.
I thought so too. I don't know if it is because I am running an android phone and I was trying to sync a gmail acct or what. But I know the first time I tried to set it up, it added all my email contacts (a lot of whom I never phone and don't want on my phone) to my phone's address book and I had to go through my phonebook and delete all those. I really would have liked the notification on my phone of an email, so I decided to try again - with even more disastrous results than the first time.
So I think that there will not be a third time......

I have an android phone, and when I put in my real paid for email into that phone... I stopped getting mail to my computer outlook program. ticked me off big time deleted that from the phone fast.
I do have gmail in the phone though and it if I delete something from the phone it deletes it from the computer, if I delete something from the computer sometimes its still there next time I turn on the phone.
I dont understand it and I dont have any clue how to fix it.
(( Kelly ))
still sick but, got a couple books read today while I was awake.

Swim practice tonight and I'm sitting here trying to get my blood pressure down after watching that train wreck! Told M tonight that he has 30 days to show me he wants to be on this team or I am pulling him off of it.

in the pasture behind the barn with the cows and goats?
supposedly there are two pregnant females, one female that "may" be PG, one ram that is not blood related to those females and some younger ones...
I dont know how many. I just know the price of the ones not pg was like 80 and the pg females was 125... and Im not so sure I want to breed sheep. kwim? its one thing to have them delivered walking talking ( sheep talk) just have to let them walk around eating grass for 9 months before they go in the freezer... breeding them means talking to them and being friends with them... and naming the parents... do I want to eat their babies? ( dunno but, best guess is NO)

sheep were being sold here in the spring for like 180... which is crazy... for something you get about 45 pounds of meat out of later... so, my guess is the farmers who didnt sell them all in the spring the prices are coming down now that its almost fall/winter end of grass growing season.
