Evening!
Waiting on hubby to get home but M and I have finished supper & kitchen is cleaned up.

We've had a much better day here...Thanks Goodness!
Think I have finally narrowed down the curriculum picks. Have to drive about 45 miles over to the bookstore to pick up some of the books tomorrow and then I'm going to probably have to order some. Not sure what all the store is going to have.

Oster.

Look for one that says it will take a 12" pizza, as that size will also hold a 9" round or square cake pan, and smaller sized casserole dishes.

Absolute madness of a day at work - I didn't leave until 6:30, and then I came home & changed and went back out to go grocery shopping.
Going to have to go to the other grocery store tomorrow 'cause I couldn't get everything I needed tonight - they didn't have a couple things.
Now sitting down and relaxing and eating a most nutritious dinner - a , tostitos with salsa & "sour cream", and

Thank you. Good to now about the pan size. Single serve pizzas wouldn't be a problem but if both kids want pizza, the size is 12". Plus it would be nice to get a small pan in there. The one I was just looking at was 11" but think that includes the door so not even sure an 11" pizza would fit.

I feel a draft by the front window. The drapes are down and now it's just mini-blinds. The "drapes" will be just fabric that wraps and hangs on each end so that won't help the draft.

Hey - you can always come up here for an indulgent girls weekend. I'm planning on eating junk, crafting and then having a nice Thanksgiving dinner on Monday (provided I can get turkey at the grocery store tomorrow).

I'll even let you play with my toaster oven.

I've been thinking about getting a new oven too. Well, it's on my research list, wouldn't be for another year or so. At least a new toaster oven would work out in the meantime. Nothing wrong yet other than the top broiler element not working. But the way everything's been breaking down lately, I want to be prepared.

Priority number one is filling the holes outside the bedroom windows from a frequently visiting woodpecker.

I have to say I almost bought a second crock-pot today.......... (the only reason I didn't was I didn't have room in my shopping cart)
I've been thinking about buying a second one for a while. This one was smaller than my current one (probably about 1/2 size maybe? but I think my big one is too big for some stuff KWIM?), and it was a patterned crock pot - purple polka dots......... and only $15. I think later next week when I go out shopping, I will need to look for it again and see if I can get one.

Well, given that we had our family Thanksgiving dinner last Sunday, so I've been talking about Thanksgiving for two weeks, that isn't all that surprising......

Yep! Completely dark here between half past six and seven. Of course, that will change soon - though I've no idea when. Guess I should go look up when the time change is supposed to be this fall.

Here it's Nov 4th. We had the GS meeting Tues nite until 8pm and it was so dark when we left, couldn't even tell where the sidewalk was. No moonlight or anything. Had to email the school to please leave the lights on for us.

I dont like driving in the dark, and I think my stupid washing machine is on the blink...

every single load is "un balanced" now and I have to open the lid and re-arrange the clothes and restart the wash...

tossed in a load of hubs work clothes this am, came by the house around 3:15 because I was picking up parts down the street and around the corner and had to use the restroom and it was way closer then driving back to work. "moved the laundry inside the washing machine and reset it" went back to work, came home for 15 minutes between 5:15 and 5:32 ish and had to re arrange it again, it was finally done washing at 6 45 or what ever time I got home. ( all day long one load)

Then it is probably Nov. 4th here too. We generally change the same weekend - just less hassle all 'round.

I bought some of this glass and some magnets last year when they were cheap after christmas... and I am thinking about doing something like this for the booth.

altered magnets... but, my brain is tired. so its what do you use to stick the paper to the glass? I know you have to use E600 to stick the magnet on the back but... cant remember the sandwich.

I picked up some clear ornament bulbs to put a picture of the kid inside. Thought about doing one for each grandkid to give to my mom for her tree. Hoped the sils would give me school pics of their kids but they haven't done it yet. So gonna have to look through my photos to see if I have any worth using. Otherwise on Confirmation, I'll have to take a pic of each kid before they all leave.

It's like this but with a photo of a kid.

pebble and tile magnets by mrussom - Cards and Paper Crafts at Splitcoaststampers

I've done them and used crystal effects and I think mod podge. Though I found red-toned SU! inks bled a bit when I used mod podge.

Agreed.

Stacy, to me it looks like that fake sort of glittery snow flake stuff you can buy in a bag. I have some and the stuff lasts forever. (And makes about as much mess and is about as annoying to deal with as glitter.)

I guess her blog says flower soft but the one I saw with the picture used glitter. I don't see it in my favs so must have seen it on a blog, forever lost in my bookmarks.
