*like* I know what you mean. Even getting "Trending" things now...if I don't read them on Yahoo, why would I want to read them on FB?
Between Tami's recipe and watching a tv show grill bbq chicken today, I have a chicken craving. I already had chicken for supper. Need to offset the Milk Duds I guess.
Had to go to FB. Saw him with big sis in one of the albums. He sure looks happier without being all hooked up. Cool that they let him go outside for a bit too.
yep, gotta take storm back to the vets to be boarded, go to albertsons to get a special beer the folks want, go to work, do payroll, go to bank then we can leave. ( hopefully before noon) its a 5+ hour drive.
Im not taking a computer, and I really need to hit the sack. g'night

I have really thick nails and all but three toe nails have this extra crust growing below them, don't even own any open toe shoes and never go sock-less in public, hardly ever at home even. My toes started this in 5th grade. It's not the "fungus" thing that are in some commercials because I asked a dermatologist about it. He never elaborated what he thought it might be, just to not go on those "drugs" because what it did to the liver I'd have to be on the pills for life. My finger nails have it too but it's not as bad as it used to be. And if I keep my finger nails longer, you can't quite see the other stuff. (Also why I always kept nail polish on since 5th grade, but stopped shortly after ds2 was born...too hard to keep up.)
Oooh I like shoes... its strange... I like how they look more then to walk in them though, I can do it. just lazy and cautious.
step mom was a flight attendant in the 70's when they were required to wear High heels... and the tendons in her legs she walks on tip toes alot ( barefoot )
Wearing heels all the time shortens the tendons in your heels/calves. That is why it is recommended that you wear flats too. I had an aunt that even had to wear heels at home even into her 60s because it was too painful to go barefoot or wear flats after wearing heels for so many years.

so the donating platelets didn't work out so well. First my vein rolled after she got the needle in- she fixed it and taped it down. I was going for about 20-30 minutes and I looked down- I had blood coming out of the needle site so I called one of the girls over and she was wiping it off and asked if my arm hurt. It didn't at the time- just a small burn then all of a sudden there was a horrible pain- basically the needle moved out of the vein and they had to stop. I can't donate again for 56 days and she said I would have a pretty nasty bruise. They sent me home with an ice pack and then instructions on how bruise properly (who knew there were instructions for that) A trip to the grocery store (and JoAnn's where I didn't buy anything) I am home. I should go make some cards.
My kidney stone bruises (the iv needles in both arms and then I didn't even need the iv) lasted 3+ weeks. They were ugly, hopefully yours won't be that bad.

oh my word- SWEATY! Going to take a shower and do some laundry because somehow I got talked into doing spin AND zumba tomorrow morning. Need to make my dessert thing for tomorrow too!
