The raisins in my cereal were frozen today.

No, not really. LOL. I think they were just dry and tough (cheap, store-brand granola). Seriously, I couldn't even eat them. I think I'm going to pick the rest of them out and never buy that granola (with raisins, anyway) again.

I'm not a raisin fan anyway. I usually buy my granola without them. Although I do like dried cranberries! Another 'new' item I discovered I like!

It got colder - that's for sure. It was in the 60s this morning. I slept with the window open again. But it is now in the 40s. A biting cold rain now. I'm glad I'm DONE with those windows! They aren't great but better than they were.

So, remember I said it was too foggy and misty/rainy to do the windows yesterday. Well, it is actively raining today. But I have most of the windows done. I have to do the kitchen and dining room. I'm taking a break watching General Hospital. As soon as that is done, I'll finish. Then I have mail to sort through. And laundry. And dinner to think about.

I will say the living room windows look so much better!
Yea on getting windows done! Boo on laundry. And mail sorting. And making dinner!

It's a twin thing. I much prefer dried cranberries over raisins. BRRRRRRRR on cold rain. It's in the 30's here. If it rains & freezes we're in trouble.

He had done some things, but not all. He had an ac/heat guy come by, but the heater was blowing SO hot that the furnace door was super hot to the touch. Upstairs was miserable. It's always hotter upstairs than down, but it was really bad. So, the realtor is dealing with that for me. We can't close til Tuesday a.m. now. Part of that is the home office for the mortgage company is in Dallas, which was frozen & icy today so most people didn't go into work. We'll still be moving into the house the same day we'd planned, but we'd hoped to have keys on Monday to move stuff in. Now it all has to go somewhere (storage for part, friend's house for part) this weekend & Monday. Just want the clothes we are wearing on Tuesday & food for breakfast left behind.

Laundry is sorted but nothing further. The girls were doing laundry.

Mail sorting - done. And the bills are paid! Although I have to call the water company. They double billed me. I know I paid the last bill because I called them about it. I even have the cancelled check. So, will do that Monday.

The girls wanted leftovers! Woo hoo!!!! EASY!

I usually buy the non-raisin granola, too. Guess I wasn't paying attention and grabbed the wrong one last time.

<---Likes dried cranberries also. I like just about anything with cranberries.

And I REALLY like dried cherries, but they're more expensive.

Raisins? Not so much. If they've been rehydrated somewhat and are in cookies, I'll eat them. But that's about it.

Went to an opening at an art gallery downtown earlier tonight: the gal who I've taken classes with. It was great to see her completed paintings in person. I've only see them in pictures, online, or as incomplete pieces.

Then my friend Barb in NY called me. I had to cut that call short because for some reason I had a feeling my mom was going to call me.

Hung up the phone, called my mom, and sure enough: she had been trying to call me.

That was some ESP, Miss I!

Granny - you look great!!!! That is the thing lately. Lots of my friends have done color runs!

It is sunny and pretty outside today, but cold! Tomorrow will be colder and we are getting the storm system. We're due for a little bit of everything, apparently - including ice. THAT is what I don't like. I think it is going to be a nuisance storm more than anything else. I wanted to decorate outside tomorrow. I wonder if it will get done this year?

Well....

I had sent her a package and she had emailed me in the morning that she had gotten it, but hadn't opened it yet because they had a hamburger cookout to work at lunch time.

She didn't email me again, so I figured she'd be calling. LOL

(Hamburger cookout = fundraiser for the softball teams).

Your numbers for today: 11, 2 and 4.

It's 11 degrees for the holiday parade (going on right now, downtown).

We have 2 to 4 inches of snow predicted for tomorrow.

I don't know. I kinda don't want to wash them.

I know it all came out of my shoes.

If I do wash them,I will save them to wear at the next one.

I am COLD! Wish I had a fireplace to cozy up to.

I just bumped up the thermostat a couple of degrees and made myself a big mug of hot spiced cider. I'll have to get more of the spice mix. I have just a little bit leftover from last year.

It was a man's XXL. I bought it that big since I only had thermo underwear on.

Headed out in a bit to get my hair cut. Not sure how I feel about doing it on a Sunday but she is working and I have the time.

This afternoon I am meeting someone to sell my extra set of Harry Potter paperbacks. They are just sitting here and she wants them for her nephew.

Stay warm! You know it's cold when south Texas has a chance of freezing rain & sleet in the forecast!

Granny, show us your hair! You know it's a requirement when you get a new do.

Off to the Christmas service at church. We have no idea why it's this early this year, but glad it didn't ice over so we can drive safely. Possible ice Tuesday a.m., which is our new date for closing.

Going to take 2 cars & unload stuff at storage after church.

Have a super day & stay warm!
