Just wanted to let ya'll know that the grandbaby finally made her rodeo star entrance into the world yesterday at noon. Colbie Grace is her name and thumb-sucking is her game! She weighed in at 9-14 (I'm glad my kids weren't that big!) and 21-1/4" long.
I'll be watching this rodeo from the sidelines, I'm afraid. Just don't think I can swing it with my big vacation looming next month. Ya'll have fun, though!

So far the repeats we have are from those who also sent in other ideas too, so nobody is out at this point as we still have lots of hostess slots to fill!

Congrats!!!! Love her name! I'm glad my kids aren't that big, too!

OMG! It rained SO hard...I felt like I was driving through a hurricane - it was that bad! What a nightmare to face during the drive home. We needed the rain but not that much all at once.
Going out with the girls tonight for fondue. Mmmmmmm cheesy goodness!

My brother and I were on our way to Barnes & Noble today when my Service Engine Soon light came on. I got the Stamp It! magazine that has D's card in it. Great card and great magazine by the way. Anyway, I was right around the corner from the car place and I needed an oil change anyway, so we just went. It turns out that apparently the SES light came on because the gas cap was not on tight. Who knew that would set it off? So, just got the oil changed and some routine maintenance and came home.
Yep, that gas cap is the major light-producer! You need to tighten until it clicks a few times.
My poor independent-minded hubby refuses to tighten his gas cap and when the engine light comes on, he just puts a piece of electrical tape over it so he doesn't see it. Funny how when I drove his truck for a month when my car was in the shop, I tightened the gas cap and the light went off. Well, duh!

What would men do without black electrical tape. My uncle used it so much it became a family joke and everyone would give him black tape for all holidays, birthdays, etc. I love that he taped over the light so he didn't need to see it. What a hoot.
Hey peeps!! Whatever am I missing? Lee got published? And Denise too? I have to go take a look at one of those magazines now - Cardmaker you say? Hmm, may have to run to the bookstore after I drop my daughter off at work.
Just letting you know that I FINALLY sent out the MAY card AND the JUNE cards - so ladies watch your mailboxes. Sorry for being SOOOOO SOOOOOO late!! I intend on getting the July card out soon. I have a craft room now - you must go take a look at my blog - you will see pictures - you have to scroll down a bit. Anyway, it is good to be BACK and crafting!

hi everyone! So glad you guys were able to find the Stamp it mag...some of my family members were having a hard time finding it...but I think they are not looking at craft stores!
I just went and picked up Cardmaker! Lee your card is awesome! Love the fish!
So I am in the last few weeks before the move...ugh! I am starting to get a little sad...
I know D! You will miss Toni and all the people and your church, etc. but a whole new adventure is waiting for you here. It's going to be an adjustment. Promise me that you'll give it at least a year before you have second thoughts. It will take some time. Humidity is NOTHING compared to 12 inches or more of snow.

I need to find Stamp It....I think when I'm up in Denver I'll have to look....the stores in Pueblo are smaller and don't have near the selection....and I mean any store! LOL
Denise - ok, I have been out of the loop and have only caught comments here and there - but am I to understand that you are moving to Florida? I understand about moves and sadness and all of that. I also understand about adjusting to different weather - like from Southern California to Humid Alabama - and you know, it really isn't so bad. They keep saying that we haven't hit our hottest yet, but so far, so good. You stay inside under air conditioning a bit more - so if you are at home that just means more craft time!

Happy Fourth of July everyone!
Hope you all had a nice day. I had a low-key day, which was just fine with me! I spent most of the day crafting and doing vacation prep stuff. Just 11 days til the big trip! Wahoo. I did go watch the city fireworks -you can see them from the driveway to my place, so that makes it handy!
