ok I am finally home and back in my routine! Florida was great and we even found a community we LOVE (not down South Pat will be happy to hear!) and hope to sell our house before the summer and have a brand new house built! And YES I get a WHOLE ROOM for my craft stuff! Yippee!!
Jacq, so excited for you! I wish we could set up a nanny cam to see it all happen live! Best of luck to you both, enjoy yourself and don't forget to eat!
Lee, hope you are feeling better soon!
Mish, I subbed a few things also. Did you send any in for World Card Making day? That is my next, but you have to mail those in.
Pat, hope school starts off well for you! I printed out a recipe for Asian lettuce wraps I'm gonna try this week! LOL
Jean, girl, hope you are walking around soon...next time I come back I'm kidnapping you!
Stacey...are you looking forward to school as much as I am? LOL
Karo...got my twine, it's way cool! Gotta use it now!
Paula, the pics you posted are adorable! How are you adjusting to 2 kiddies? Wait till they are big enough to fight with each other...LOL
Ok girls....big CAS DT search happening next weekend I believe....anyone gonna give it try? Only bad thing is you have to work with me...hee hee hee....
Happy 90th Anniversary of the 19th amendment - I can't believe that when my grandmother's were born their mothers could not vote.
Denise - moving to Florida? How exciting! Are there plans of your new house you want online so we can see? And don't get excited about the whole room for craft stuff - you know you will miss your closet
I am not excited for school to start. My cutsie blond haired blue eyed baby is starting high school. We went to the parent Cross Country meeting tonight - I must say how impressed I am at how the coach makes an effort of making sure that the kids realize they are part of a team - Team dinners every night before a meet and goodie bags for the kids on meet mornings. All the kids are really supportive of one another, it's a great thing for AJ to be a part of!
Jacq - have a great time at your wedding! I want to hear all about it. Congrats girl
Michelle, have fun with your friend (and give Micky a hug for me). I can't wait for this work week to be over either
Woohoo Jacq! In less than two days you'll be married!
Yay for craft room, D! So excited for you and your big move.
Yahoo for the 19th amendment, Stacey! That's definitely worth celebrating!

I think I just shuddered. Sounds like an awesome team, though!
Denise ~ Congrats on the new house, new state, new craft room plan! Whoo hoo! I think we're adjusting ok to two. We still go places and do things, they just take eternity. The exhaustion is lasting longer this time. And the boys already wrestle. Ezra will be a year old in less than a month and Archer is closer to 3 than 2. Insanity.
Karolyn ~ The 60s?? I can't even keep my house in the 70s with the AC going full blast during the day!
Jacq ~ So excited for you!!!

JACQ!!!!! Wowza!!! Sooooooooooo excited for you!!!!!!!!!!
Denise....so excited about your move! Wishing you a quick sale of your home so you can get settled!!
Paula....OMGosh I can't believe how big those boys are getting!!! We seriously need to make a trip to TX soon!!
Stacey.....oh our kiddos do grow up so quickly!!! DD starts her college sophomore year next week and we move her back to her dorm tomorrow. DS will most likely graduate H.S. in about a year or so!!
Howdy, Howdy everyone else!! I'm not gonna whine....it seems some of these health issues are just gonna be here for a while and I have to learn how to live with them.
Very smart NOT to do South Florida, Dee. I seriously do not think you'd be happy any farther south than Sarasota. Trust Pat and me on this! Where did you find a site?

Dude...you are such a liar! You DO NOT have a child in high school! Are you even legal to drink?
Jean, you crack me up! My hot brother loved the area too and wants to move down himself!
Well, the community we found that we loved is called Independence...in Ocoee but closer to Windermere. The builder we like is Meritage Homes and the house is called the Victoria.
Oh my goodness, it has 5 bedrooms and 4 bathrooms! ACK! But I would be 20 minutes form Disney the airport and my inlaws....and about an hour from Jean and I guess 25 minutes from Pat! SO COOL!
dude, that house is HUGE!!! I like it, but man I wouldn't want to have to clean it!
I am getting ready to leave work. Thank goodness there is only one more day to go!

GORGEOUS!!!! I hope it all goes smooth sailing for you!!!
OH!!! YIKES! I gotta get my RESQ challenge up!!! I'm gonna use a card I made for one of the hometown challenges as life went NUTSO here this week. On top of moving Jaimee into her dorm room today, hubby's car died when we only had one payment left. It will be too much to put into a car with over 100,000 miles on it, so we'll be trading it in after he does some research. Meanwhile the kiddo here at home needs expensive ortho inserts for his shoes and a driver's class and his license! I need Murphy's Law to go visit someone else!!!!!!! Any volunteers????

Denise...........thanks for all you do in keeping RESQ going and always fixing when I post since I can't seem to add the right stuff.......or remember the keyword! DUH! LOL Let me know as I can help out more often now!
Sorry I have been MIA for a little bit. I've made it through pre-planning at school. My mom had eye surgery yesterday, and I helped her through that. Now it is the weekend and I get to plan my first week of classes. I met 13 (of 19) of my new kids on Thursday (Meet the Teacher). It looks like I'm going to have a great class this year!
Yay for a great class, Pat! I forget - what grade is it?
I am hot and sunburned. I had a 2 p.m. assignment outside today and it was 103 degrees. I was only out for an hour, but it was long enough to turn me pink. Plus I was wearing a weirdly cut shirt, so the lines don't match any of my previous lines!
Hope you're all doing well.
Thinking about Jacq and hoping she's having a great night!
just popping on quickly to say....
I'M MARRIED!!!!!
Joe & I are on our way to Charleston, SC
I'll post a few pics when we get back. THANK YOU ALL FOR THE WELL WISHES. I'll tell you all about it when we return!
Hugs - Jacq

Hi everyone else! I had a fabulous day at the beach and in the pool with my friends visiting from out of town. I'll try to post a few pics tomorrow. It was a gorgeous day. I did pretty good with the sunscreen, but missed my feet and ankles - ouch!
Back to work tomorrow. Have a great week everyone!
Today I am requesting prayers.
Mom has depressed and stating that she has nothing left to live for and would be happy if she died. Nothing I say or do seems to help. I did take her to the Doctor and she told the doctor that she would not take any more medicine or participate in any PT, etc. She was done.
Mom's next youngest sibling (Wayne) died today of Lung cancer that has spread throughout his entire body.
My brother Roger's MIL (Norma) has been diagonosed with Ovarian Cancer and given 3 months max.
I know this is all God's will and that for Uncle Wayne, it is a blessing that he no longer is suffering but is at peace. I pray that Norma will not suffer too much before she goes home and that my SIL can handle it. She is staying with her mother to take care of her.

Oh, Robyn! (((HUGS))) to you and your family. I'm sorry you're going through all this. You all are definitely in my thoughts. Would a card be of any help for your mom? I'd be happy to stick one in the mail.
Thank you and a card to Mom would lift her spirits. When her younger brother passed and my SCS friends sent cards, she was blown away. If you need our address, just PM me.
Hugs

Robyn, your family is in my thoughts and prayers. I will get a card in the mail to your mother this weekend.
Hello everyone! The first week of school is so tiring. I have to be on my feet the entire day. It will be better when we settle into a routine. I love my class! They can already line up in only 8 seconds!
Howdy girls! Thank you again for all the well wishes. Everything turned out great and everyone had a good time; the food was awesome, the weather cooperated. There is so much to report.
PART ONE: Are We There Yet?
First off, the boys did not come - at first, X seemed as though she'd cooperate but the morning of the wedding she started her antics. Based on the time she said she was going to leave - they wouldn't have made it on time. Joe told her he'd pick them up earlier and we had a plan all worked out as to not keep them there too long, etc. but she insisted on bringing Christopher (no mention of Joey) to the location and picking him up midway through the reception. Read into this a little deeper: This would have given her the perfect opportunity to be disruptive or make a fool of Joe. Joe finally told her to forget it. Christopher would've been the only kid there and probably would've been bored so it worked out for the best.
It took some people longer to arrive than they anticipated so they were late -plus, it had rained earlier and there were a few wrecks along the way, not to mention it was Friday (after work traffic). Joe's mom/stepdad, sisters, and father completely missed the ceremony and showed up about an hour or two later. Time management, people.
Other than that everything else was great. We had so much fun. We laughed, we cried. The cake was yummy - I still have some left; I am NOT saving it for a year (gross) - we're going to eat it this weekend when Christopher is over.
Pat - Happy first week back to school. The boys went back yesterday. Whip those kids into shape and keep them in line.
Denise - Chris is rockin' that mohawk. He's a cutie!
Robyn - BIG (((hugs))) to your mom AND you.
Lee - hope you're feeling better and the kids are settled in.
Be back later for the next installment..."The Vows"
I also have a few pictures on my camera so I'll post a couple later for a sneak peak. Rob took a ton of pictures (but hasn't sent them to me yet) so I'll have way better ones soon.
