Brecken is adorable! Some friends just had a baby boy and our nephew just had a baby girl. All the pictures are trying to give me baby fever.

Ok.....catching up............

Karo....OMGosh is Brecken just toooooooooo darn cute!!!!
What Spellbinder's case??? I'm addicted to my Nesties!!!

Mish......I wouldn't pay for a refill station idea.....I really don't think it makes sense with how much it costs plus shipping. I've gotten refills from Oozak and yes, it's easy, peasy to remove the nib with tweezers and refill. I've refilled both with and without the needle....the needle makes it a bit easier and faster, but not by tons.

Jacq.........big HUGS for you and Joe right now!!

Robyn....sounds like a lot going on for you! Enjoy CHA!! I'm so envious!!

Hubby and I took a drive this evening in the gorgeous 65* weather.......saw bear, deer and a mama turkey with babies!

Thanks for the advice, Lee!
Sounds like you had a great night.
Sounds like Robyn has serious fun ahead. Yay!
I am worn out from the week, but hoping I have enough mojo to get a couple more dare to get dirty challenges done tonight! Wish me luck.

I made a card! I'm not very good at stamping and chatting at the same time. Partly because the spot where I could put my computer in my workspace is totally covered in dirty stamps, scraps of paper and stray embellies! I'm waiting for crystal effects to dry right now, and looking for my next dose of inspiration!

LOL Mish!! Yeah, now that my room and stamp table are clean I finally have room for my laptop on my stamp table!

I'm almost finished with another triple DTGD challenge card! It's been fun to combine, something I've rarely ever done!

Woohoo! Way to go, Lee! I've been combining where I can, just because I really want to finish them all and there's no way I'd get 33 separate things done. I've managed three challenges in one project a couple of times. I don't know how people do it when they are combining 5 or 6. I'm uploading a couple now. I had caffeine after work (probably a mistake!) so I'll try to get at least one more in tonight before bed!

I got 1 thing made for 2 challenges and a card started for 2 challenges. I think one of the cards I made wednesday was for 6 challenges but that's the best I've ever done at combining.

You stayed up all night, Lee? You are a stamping rock star! I had to trim some new Gina stamps I wanted to use on a card, and after that I was done! I am hoping to get back to it in a little while. I still have quite a few challenges to do. Many of them are sketches so it's getting harder and harder to combine!

Hi Mish!

I haven't even started the DTGD challenges yet, but they're on my list to do. I seriously doubt I'll get all 33 done, but I'm going to give it the ole' college try. I have a few DT projects I need to do, and I was going to try my hand at submitting to CARDS again.

Have a wonderful Saturday, ladies! I plan to stamp all day. Woohoo!

Oh, P.S., Mish, thank you for the sweet treats in my little box. I got it the other day - sorry I forgot to say something. The projects you did are so stinkin' cute!! I can see why they were so successful in supporting Sunny. And that card you sent is S-T-U-N-N-I-N-G! Thanks, sweets!

It is Dear Lizzy. I picked it up at Craft Warehouse while I was in Oregon. I love that store. The paper is adhesive-backed, so you can peel and stick if you want. I have some, too, but I haven't played with it yet! And you're welcome for the little treats - thank you for lending me the stamps and for all the support! I loved putting the little goodies together. Enjoy stamping the day away! I really want to do the same, and probably will do quite a bit of stamping, but I need to tackle a couple of errands, too, including one to a craft store. I'm running out of adhesive!

OK, you girls are chatting too much for me to keep up with!!

Plans for today:

Work (done, only 3 hrs, all OT!)
Grocery Store (check)
Yard Work (too hot - maybe this evening)
Laundry
Pick up stamp room
Nap

Maybe I will even stamp something I have been inspired by those of you who submit your work to the different stamping publications, maybe I can give it a try.

I was thinking there were some near you in Washington, but it looks like they're in Vancouver, Yakima, Kenniwick and Wenatchee, so you'd definitely have to road trip somewhere! They are great stores - lots of stamps, scrap stuff and embellies, and they keep pretty current. They also do good sales; I picked up some great holiday stamps there half off right after Christmas.

Ok..........is CARDS the one that needs to be not posted anywhere? I keep forgetting. I do want to keep trying and someday I'll just be surprised when it happens! heehee!

Happy Stamping everyone! I'll be popping in galleries to see what lovelies you're creating!

Howdy Chatty Cathies -
You're on a roll with your challenges. Thanks for your well wishes re: Joe's grandfather. We just got back a couple of hours ago from the Memorial.

Karo - I want Spellbinders dirt too. I need some juicy tidbits. Brecken looks adorable. he's going to grow before your eyes.

GO for it Stacey!

Lee - hope you're feeling better girl!

Hi Michelle! Hi Pat! Hi Jean! Hi Denise! Hi Robyn! Hi Paula!

I will be PMing the info and posting the hometown tours schedule tomorrow. That is, after I get back from WORK!

Holy H2O Batman! Just when I thought Friday was going to be a cake day, Around noon we got word that a 24-inch water main blew out right in front of the water plant. We're talking over 3 million gallons of water lost (probably closer to 5 million after all is said and done)! I recently relocated to the administrative building and work with the Public Relations person who was on a plane to France at the time of the main break so I had to assume the role of Public Information Officer and start sending out press releases and deal with media inquiries until 7:30 PM when I was relieved. I then had to report back this morning at 6:00AM and worked until 6:30PM. I left the Emergency Operations Center and met Joe at the funeral home on my way home. We still have a boil water advisory for the entire county and we were under mandatory water conservation measures (which is my actual job). I have to go back tomorrow to issue more press releases once the water analysis test results come in. Hopefully all the results will be negative and we can resume to normal operations. The good thing is that they haven't reclassified my position yet so I'm still an hourly employee so I've already accumulated 16 hours overtime which will give me extra money next payday!! Woo-Hoo. I plan to use it to pay the balance owed on my gown, the cake, and flowers.

Anyway, that's my exciting news. I am exhausted so I need to tune out for now. Snooze land is fast approaching. For the record, Joe is listening to Christmas music. heehee

Have a WONDERFUL weekend everyone!

Ok..........is CARDS the one that needs to be not posted anywhere? I keep forgetting. I do want to keep trying and someday I'll just be surprised when it happens! heehee!

Happy Stamping everyone! I'll be popping in galleries to see what lovelies you're creating!
Lee, I think they would prefer it to be never before posted, but when I went back and looked, it didn't say "never before posted in any galleries, etc." so if it's something you've already created, you could give it a shot. I know Paper Crafts Magazine is adamant about it never being posted before. Hope this helps!

My goodness, Jacqueline! You've had a busy couple of days! Hope your water problems are all solved now. A big water mail broke in downtown Orlando a couple of weeks ago and caused one of our main streets to cave in. It was a mess for about a week.

I have printed out new hanging file tabs for all the current SU! colors, I have drug my card stock file out to the living room, taken out all the retired card stock (if someone has a fav color that retired, PLEASE let me know!) and just started reorganizing. Now I am too tired to finish it
