Hedgie - I think they are having a sale on "their most popular" bed right now. I have no idea how expensive that one is, though.

Had a wonderful church/Sunday school this morning. I didn't actually have to teach as we had a "guest" speaker come in to talk about the family we support in Malawi. It was very interesting and fun for me. The kids enjoyed it, too. Then I had my children's choir. I seem to get more kids every week! Woo hoo!!! I have high hopes for them. I just hope I can find another accompaniest. I do have a CD for a few of the pieces, but some really need an pianist.

Bill has started painting Julie's room. The two of them primed the trim last night so he is starting on the walls today (I think). They might go pick out carpet later today. Good news on that front - Julie wants to stick with neutral! Just a little darker than she had before which is fine. I hope to convince them to choose something textured. It really does hold up better.

Someone's dog is barking. For once it isn't one of ours! Off to work on more laundry - hopefully will finish today. Maybe stamp, but I feel guilty doing that when Bill is working.

I think everyone has convinced me on the Sleep Number Bed when we buy the mattress. Last night was a good example of needing a king size! Bob has a very high body heat. I had a hard time sleeping because he was laying against me. This morning when I complained, he said it was because one of the cats was laying on the other side of him!!! Whatever!!!

I have to write Santa a list now!!!

Just RAKed two friends with some homemade apple cake! I put it in the perfect brownie pan and then divided it between the two families. One just had a knee replacement and the other ran a marathon today.

I need to do this more often. It makes me happy. I suck at sending out cards. But spur of the moment baking. Yep, that I can do!

Went to the annual Fallfest in Westminster - Camron & Conrad love the rides, of course. Have been going there before our granddaughter was born and she will be 22 next week.

Our dear sweet wonderful friend Jim Cabral was there with his band as the entertainment for the day and he is terrific - he is like a son to me. The Fallfest had to close early due to severe thunderstorms however it was great as always.
