I did get through to the doctor. I will now have a daytime cough medicine and a night time cough medicine. With all this coughing, I now have a raging headache!
I am not going to go to the funeral tomorrow, I think people would worry I have the plague. I feel terrible about all of this though.
Joanne, you should not feel terrible. You are ill. The coughing would not be comfortable to you,and if you took codeine, well-- you'd be drugged and not remember anything anyway!
After the funeral, there will be some wonderful things you can do for the children... the let down, the reality sets in, they will be grieving and so very sad. Rest for now, and ideas will come to you through our Lord.

Joanne - I am glad you have new meds. I sure hope this passes quickly. You've been sick for far too long. I agree about not going to the funeral - you are too sick. I am sure you can pay your respects in other ways.
Cat - I wish I could do more for those Cole kids, but we are barely scraping by ourselves. I will pray that a donor comes forward.
Sherry - I am glad you enjoyed your dinner out! It sounds yummy and healthy. If I go to Chilis I get something really bad for me. LOL
Joan - how is your DH? I hope things are OK by you.
Hope Jennifer and Preston are doing OK!
Jen, you are so sweet... got a call from Aaron this evening to talk about a donation from our daughter and said that they have met their goal!! PTL!

Woke up at my normal time, which kind of bummed me out, but whatever. Cleaned the bathroom (almost done - just need to do the floor). Went to the dump and then I went to meet my weight loss challenge group for a hike but no one was there! So, I did aa 1.5 mile trail run. Then hung around and sure enough everyone showed up - I had the time wrong! So, did a 3 mile hike with them. Then I ran to WM and came home to eat lunch. So, busy but productive morning!
I am going to work on laundry and maybe watch a movie. Later I have a date for a drink.
Hope everyone else is having a great day!
It's too bad that all the people who are smart enough to run the country are busy teaching school.
Dh and I spent the day at his mom's trying to fix the plumbing. The sinks in the bathroom have been leaking quite awhile. We drove 30 miles to the nearest Menards. We bought faucets and all the stuff DH thought he needed. By then the snow was coming down pretty hard. They live out in the country. Wouldn't you know it. He needed another part. Dh didn't want to try back to Menards. He went to the local hardware store. They don't carry the fitting he needs. So he put one new one in and one old one back in to the sinks. The old one is leaking. We left. Hopefully, his brother can fix it when he comes tomorrow. We can't drive 80 miles again.
Thinking of all of you!
Some of us think holding on makes us strong; but sometimes it is letting go.
