DH is actually a hindrance, he loves junk food. However, his A1C has been around 6.8 again. As A type 2 diabetic that is okay!

Joanne- Hurray for Marie. I sure hope she can get this going as a business. it will boost her self esteem.

jen- sounds like you and I are having stressful yrs. I pray both of our improve. How are the boys?

Caterina- I was cleaning the closet. I found a cute bear that my youngest son received on Christmas from Minneapolis Children's Hospital. he also, received other gifts. Santa sneaked in during the night. Unfortunately, we spent Christmas in the Hospital when he was 15.
Joan thank you so much for the card! Made my day!

My A1C was 5.5. I received a note from MD. Even though you are within normal limits, pre-diabetes starts at 5.7.

Lose some weight, decrease carbs, eat a diabetic diet.... guess she told me, huh!

Hi all. Julie ad I spent several hours helping set up tables and such for the bazaar on Saturday. Now my back is killing me. Plus, I came home and sat in my chair to create more Christmas cards to package and sell. Tomorrow, Julie wants to bake for the bake table.

Jo, I would not continue if your back is killing you. Not worth it.
Let it go, find an easier alternative to contribute without all of this work.

I just printed out the ADA list of groceries for the recipes coming up.
Cost prohibitive. No wonder folks who are ill/unable to afford the health care are hurting.

I will do it. I will let some other things go.. most don't have that option.
I need a jump start and support...

Good morning, we are ready to roll towards Newark. We are looking forward to seeing Joseph Prince tonight.

Joan thank you so much for my treat (card) you sent! I love it!

I had 3 trick or treaters last night! so, I'm going to make cute bags and give my candy away at the homeless lunch we are helping with on Sunday!

Late night for us. We had a football game and the band marched in their costumes! they had a great time! But by the time they get back to Canyon, unload and get home, it was really late. then Corrie tells me she has homework to do before she can go to bed. It was already midnight when we got home! I know she'll sleep in tomorrow!

I hope everyone has a great Friday!
