Oh and Jennifer - we should make sure that question gets carried over to Monday's thread. Hopefully, I'll remember that. But don't count on it. Memory is the first thing to go. . . right?

Bought my first SS gift... not anything 'stampin' but saw it and thought it would be something my misfit would like....I liked it.

Clear or wood for me. Clear is cheaper so that is fine!

I've never tried Copics.

I think a flesh toned copic would be a good move if you like to color. SU doesn't have any flesh toned markers.

I haven't tried Copics either. I'm almost afraid! Stampin Up does still sell their Blush Blossom marker which is their flesh tone. But only one.

I love copics however before you buy any, take a copic 101 class first. It will help you because there are tons of copic colors to choose and can get overwhelming. I bought a few at first and then took a class and it has made it easier to know what colors are good to blend with others. There is a copic thread on SCS that is worth reading. Right now copics has a 25th anniversary set available which I purchased on installments at my local craft store.

I LOVE MY COPICS ! ! !

I never use anything else, now that I have them!!! I went through an addiction phase, and have LOTS of copics, and still want MORE, LOL!!! Once you get a hang of using of using them, you will love them!!!
I use a heavier paper and different ink when I use my Copics, otherwise, they will bleed sometimes, and that makes me crazy!!! (I only like blood in October,Mmmmmmm!!!!!) They are alcohol-based, where other markers are water-based. You know when you are coloring away with your markers, and all of a sudden, the paper starts balling-up (I hate when that happens)!!! You can color all you want with Copics, and your paper will stay nice and smooth. The only thing that will happen is the ink might seep through the back of the paper. That is perfectly alright, so I put a barrier between my paper and my dining room table. I say, This is "TRY COPICS MONTH" ! ! !
